Keqing`s Cs are useless garbage unless you get it randomly with small blood, which most likely wouldn`t be so at all, more so in f2p. Electro and Keqing`s Cs need a total rework, it isn`t funny to compare them with those of other 5* dps characters and more so with C4-C6 of 4* characters. Constellations for 5* dps unit need to be much stronger starting from C1, not being whale-walled to C4 or further while still being worser than average – it`s even funnier to see how there are many C1-C2s for 4* characters like Amber/Kaeya/Fischl/Razor/Bennet/Ningguang/Xinyan etc. with cheap and direct rise of dps, yet here you need 90/180/∞ amount of pulls to get such a garbage for Keqing or other 5* characters with weak constellations.
I`m Keqing C0 main from the first day of playing and also have in f2p other C0 5* "meta" characters like Klee/Diluc/Childe/Ganyu(also Venti and Zhongli, but they are supports) – if in the basic state there aren`t much of disbalance and problem with playing any of them in the right way except of pyro/cryo/hydro being broken when you go for proper Melt/Vaporize team comp, then when it comes to wanting some constellations on currently used characters, Keqing`s additional kit is the least desirable one due to being pretty much on the level of supports like Qiqi. I`ve got C1 for Keqing on EU server and that`s an absolute joke in comparison with what you would get from C1 for Duluc/Klee/Ganyu, overall rise of dps from getting any 5* 1h sword instead of that copy from the standart banner pity would`ve been many times more useful.
Damn, now I'm not rolling on this banner for sure, I knew the constalations were bad, but now I know that they are virtually useless, sad that I need ning and constalations, but can't risk getting c1 Keqing as low spender
To all ke qing mains, you should wish primodial jade cutter. It will make your ke qing more stronger than her c1.
already have her at c1 and not gonna pull on her banner, because i am 100% guaranteed on my next pull saving for venti(if its true that he has a rerun). yeah her conste are worst compare to the other main dps 5 star character, i main her since day1(pulled her on venti) but we have to admit that she has a unique playstyle and very fun to play and i think thats what matter most.
I think looking at sustained 12 second dps is deceptive, as that's not how you're meant to play keqing late game. The benefit of keqings consts except for c4 and c6 lies in how quickly you can activate them and switch her off, making them useful for quick swap comps
Of course, they are pretty bad for sustained. But their benefits in quickswap or rotation comps shouldn't be overlooked

C2 might allow a non resonance team for more flexibility
C4 again you could save benny for another team (both of these are good for co-op)
C6 DMG bonuses add together and then multiply your damage so this should be 22% increase

I don't buy crystals but I have 19k primo gems saved up, and 30 intertwined fates to try and get Keqing. I know she is probably anti-meta now that 5* heroes are getting a bit of power creep but I don't care. She's still good, I like fast sword users, I like purple, and I like long-twintails, so I've been pretty much waiting for her banner day 1, which is exactly why I have so many gems saved up without buying them lol.
lots of comments talking about how they prefer weak constellations. Not sure I agree. I don't buy crystals, so while I don't want people who spend tons of cash to have op characters that I feel I'll never catch up to because of no 5* constellations, at the same time, the amount of money you have to blow to get m ultiple 5* pulls in this game is pretty high, and I'm kinda happy that there is a lot of potential budget towards the game to give people not a big advantage to make my cheap ass feel relevant still.
BUT, AS a brokeass, if I got a c1 on a 5* character on my slow 90th pity pull instead of a brand new diluc, klee, ganyu, or zhong-li or something, I would WANT it to be good, not crap, so I would feel like I totally got burned if it wasn't pretty good.
Even if I wanted to get constellations, the price is crazy, and I'm not even f2p

One she should get to put it in line with other 5 stars and also make her more fun without changing everything would be to make it so you can cancel out of her ult but it still do full damage so you can dps the normal way simultaneously since the ults dps is kinda questionable due to its long animation and is more for the crit buff.
I'm trying to build my Keqing… I even got the Jade cutter for her but still she feels so weak as compared to OP characeter like Ganyu…

I got C4 Bennett, Ningguang and C6 Barbara. Ill pass on this banner. With that said, I love Keqing, she is super fun to play to me. I will be fine with C0 on her.
Findings for QUICKSWAP:
Assuming the following Quickswap rotation (E1 -> Q -> E2 -> 1234CA -> E1 -> E2),
C6 Keq deals 47% more dmg than C0 Keq,
that's with 50% uptime on C1, 100% uptime on C4, and a 20% Electro dmg bonus from C6.
Compared to the 38% dmg increase by C6 Keq over C0 on the standard DPS window covered in this video (E1 -> Q -> E2 -> 1CA -> 1CA -> 1CA -> 123 -> E1 -> E2 -> 1234CA),
Keq's constellations do indeed benefit a Quickswap Keqing more than a sustained carry Keqing.
E1: First time tapping E (dagger throw)
E2: Reactivating E for the teleport slash
123…: Normal Attacks 1, 2, 3, etc.
CA: Charged Attack,
Q: Ultimate

Yeah. I'm skipping the banner. If I didn't have her already I'd certainly pull for her, but since I already have her at C1 there's not much point.
God seeing all this is DEPRESSING. Like…I LOVE playing as Keqing, but now I'm thinking I should save for Hu Tao or something. Though that'd be rolling more pyro and less electro.
I think as a C0 Keqing, I'm going to pass on this banner. Considering it's garbage against bosses and only somewhat good against the Large Hilichurls.
Then again, maybe I should just wish on the Weapon Banner and hope to get something good instead.
I think I'll see how good Hu Tao is before I make a decision either way.
keqing constellations being so hands off from the main product furthers my decision on not pulling for her. Even though I want constellations for ninguang my pity won't allow me to do it with a calm mind.
Thanks so much for making this video. It was really helpful. I have her at C1 and was debating whether to pull for more Cs on her banner. I tend to agree with you. I will abstain, saving my primogems for future character releases. I am going to switch her artifacts out for Thundering Fury though. I have been trying for a Thundersoother set with bad luck on the drops. But I hadn’t realized her E gets such a boost with C1 and Thundering Fury. Thank you! I’m changing strategies now. I have some good 5 star Thundering Fury pieces with good main stats in my inventory. Now I’m excited to put them on her and see what she can do.
Seeing the numbers here is just fine to me. Makes me think that her cons are worth it. I have a lot of fun playing her as she is, and at C1 I can already pull off 14k crits with her CA. Adding ~40% dmg to that seems plenty potent to me… And who knows. Maybe we'll get a very nice reaction with dendro.
So if we assume talent lv 10 on both E and Q, what is then the perceived damage increase on C3 and C5?
Today I decided to pull her banner just for Bennet because I don't have him and he's a great support and I got 2 KEQINGS BACK TO BACK before I got Bennet and I got him like on 20th pull or something like that. I know I have no right to complain with luck this crazy (I pulled Xiao literally a couple pulls before getting 2 Keqings, can send screenshots of history if you want), but since I know that she's not really meta and she's not my waifu and you can get her on standard banner it was obvious for me to save gems for later but now here I am with a fucking C1 Keqing and I don't know what to do with her really. I guess I'll switch Fichl out for her as a secondary DD on my Xiao team and later try her as main because I often hear that she's interesting to play. BTW I'm not a whale, never topped up once only having Welkin moon.
I was blessed by Mihoyo and now my Keqing is at C2, and I think I'm happy with it to be honest. I heard that her constellations are underwhelming, and this video just confirms my decision to not invest too much into her. However, I did get my Ningguang and Bennette to c6, which I think is a much better value for your money. Anyways, very informative video. I'm going to sub to you and check other contents. Peace

As a Keqing main/simp with C3 Keqing, her constellations are useless and make no noticeable difference at all. It’s depressing
i rolled for her c1 because i just like her
she pretty good. i made her my sub main dps because at floor 6, I need two teams. She works well despite being only lvl 50 at floor 6. She's really mobile.

Statistically the maximum DPS keqing is an electro build with 4 piece thunder soothers with jade cutter. The FTP option would be black cliff or lions roar
Electro should've just been "Increase attack speed by 15% + the current electro resonance buff"
To put it bluntly, Keqing and Qiqi constellations are dogshit. miHoYo needs to buff their constellations.
