To be fair – in terms of close combat, Kiana wouldn't stand a chance against HoS or Phoenix – which is why she always backs away throughout the fight. While HoV is head and shoulders above other Herrschers that we've seen (and she's basically crippled during the entire story – having only bits and pieces of her original abilities) – Hua is pretty goddamn terrifying as well. When Kiana froze at 3:18 – it's because she recognized the attack. Same thing that Fu used against her during the 2nd Eruption and made HoV back then extremely nervous. I'd say right now those 2 are in top 5 of most dangerous (active/available/that we've seen) characters in Honkai.
Fun fact, during Kiana previous life, she as Herrscher of the Void almost died to Fuhua's Edge of Taixuan. How ironic that now she is using Edge of Taixuan against Herrscher Fuhua.

50,000 years of immortality can do that to a person, especially in the Honkai universe.
So the attack she used to defeat HoS was the Blade Mantra, a supposedly impossible attack that she could have only accomplished with Phoenix. The Samsara is where Fu Hua went to seal herself, hence Shattered Samsara. This was a huge deal for us Captains because we are watching so many things happen with two huge characters. Fu Hua releasing 50,000 years of pain to Kiana FINALLY mastering her Herrscher side. She also didn't let Himeko die in vain because she was able to take control and save Fu Hua instead of allowing her to seal herself for eternity
I love how many symbolic and references this animation have. "its my mission" it's what Kiana said to Mei, or "trading sacrificies for so-called victories"- Himeko said something simmilar to Tesla in chapter 9, we can see Otto shoting Fu Hua, Kianas both eyes are blue, etc. even when Kiana falling and beokr seal its simmilar when Seele do something simmilar for Bronya…

So Kianna used her Void powers to enter Fu Hua’s seal and pull her out. I Don’t know Chinese, but I watched the post scene of ch. 22 on CN server and Fu Hua is 100% back. It also appears that Fu Hua and her Herrscher end things on friendlier terms.
I actually think it would be better if they added some scenes from her far past life like with Himeko in previous era or Nuwa for instance. Not just the most recent events in 2000 and 2016. However, this CG was perfect! Such an emotional scene, for someone who played this game for 4+ years, seeing how it all went from happy careless life to something so precious and peaceful… Eh I wanna cry🥺
Fuhua is Honkais single richest character in terms of backstory, so its appropriate how much flashbacks and tribute she got here

I haven’t played the the game yet, but according to my anime knowledge, i think that feather somehow changes fate. Kinda like a “divine protection”. Seeing how the scene changes from hitting kiana to hitting a random object.

if you understand Chinese, what Kiana use to save Fu Hua is not really edge of taixuan… the right translation for it is "KI-BLADE OF THE VOID" mihoyo has a long history of not really good at translating Chinese to English sub titles, many players of the game have misleads about some things in the game. even in manga too… but I still love mihoyo for giving us this wonderful game…. 😗
Final Lesson has the best story, Lament of the Fallen has the best fight.
But Shattered Samsara has the best song.

After playing this game for almost 3 years, MiHoYO just surprised us with a "happy ending". Kiana's character development is really something to be amazed and her realizing she don't wanna lose anyone anymore. Watching this PV on the time it got released made me teary and happy.

Fu Hua is phonix she won't die no matter what. those are her previous life experience. her previous 1000 years experience 🙂 this will all happen after herrscher of rimster. and she is 8th herrscher and more will come in the future i guess.
