  2. Scute is actually the word for one of the plate-like sections on a turtle's shell, so it is entirely possible the scute found in ESO is from the same mock turtle. Some adventurer probably just came along and pryed off a plate from its shell.

  3. Still missing two races from the list, both being of the area around Blackmarsh. Although their names escape me atm, they were both lagomorphic races, one being a fox-like race and the other a wolf-like race, both thought to have had died out during the plague that swept through the swamp, albeit rumors spoke of small isolated tribes of these two nearly eradicated races still existing in small, yet heavily inbred, clusters.

  4. Aye matey!!!!
    Ye did a great job!!!!
I've been playin' Elder Scrolls games since the very beginnin' o' Morrowind (nearly 20 years ago).
I thought I knew most creatures of nirn, but even after all my travels in Tamriel …
Ye showed me some new creatures.
Very nice video! I'll keep an eye upon yer channel.
May ye walk on warm sands!

  5. Excellent video! As someone not familiar with TES in general, all of these were unfamiliar to me.
I'd say my favorite was the Mock Turtle, since his story/dialogue was charming, & I resent the idea of turning him/it into soup.
My least favorite either the Rootworm Safe & speedy or not, it's a disturbing way to travel, I'd say or, the Voriplasm, also because gross.
I'm super excited to see more content like this from you!

  6. Could Umbra'Keth be something that feeds on conflict that has existed in Nirn for countless eons (maybe even since its inception) and was just mostly sleeping until that one conflict woke it up, or even just served as the straw that broke the camels back in helping it fully awaken or achieve full manifestation or something as it fed off of some psychic or other metaphysical energy from the conflict?

  7. So, here's my thought. I don't think root worms exist. I think there are tunnels of translucent/bioluminesent bacteria that produce gasses that cause the tunnels to be low in pressure. When you step on the opening, you collapse it, filling the tunnel with outside air that shoots you through the tunnel. Because of the lack of oxygen in the tunnel, people get stupid ideas like the tunnel actually being the insides of a giant worm, but it's just a simple side effect of bacteria colonies.
