In todays video we take a look at the new next gen RPG game with FPS gameplay from the creator of the original Fallout games Brian Fargo who is now the founder of InXile Entertainment. After the recent release of Wasteland 3 a fantastic single player RPG game, InXile are now creating a new first person shooter role play game that will use the Unreal Engine 5.
Since brian Fargo created the Fallout series and lead production for Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and has since worked on the Wasteland series with the most recent RPG game Wasteland 3 we can only assume that the FPS based RPG game will also be set in a wasteland like environment like the other games Brian has worked on during his career. However since the art director job listing states that they need somebody who can bring “an extraordinary new world to life,” it gives the impression this will be a new IP separate from Wastelands 3. Either way I’m excited to see how the gameplay compares to Fallout 5 but still no word on a release date yet.
