FF moving away from turn based battles is a mistake. Switching genres is not a simple move and SE is gambling on alienating its turn based rpgs fans like me. Oh well…
I think BluePoint, Housemarque, and Kojima acquisitions are around the corner. They wouldn't cost much of anything for Sony and those are already in the mold for PlayStation.
I think the leaked footage of ES6 is a fake and doesn't look authentic imo, I think Microsoft will let Sony have their exclusive deals that they have with Bethesda be carried out but I believe Microsoft will make future games Xbox only and probably PC as well. Final Fantasy XVI having a mature story and having a accessibility for players who aren't super great at action games would be a nice touch
Best case scenario, Microsoft will make Bethesda games 1-2 year timed Xbox Game Pass platform exclusives but realistically speaking, outside of the already established PlayStation Bethesda timed exclusives, I think Microsoft will make all future Bethesda games Xbox exclusives.
It's great that final fantasy is turning to action RPG 100% if you look at final fantasy 7 Advent children the movie and if you look at final fantasy 15 King's grave the movie what kind of fighting is in those movies fast-paced action right it only makes sense to make final fantasy games fast pace actions like the fighting is supposed to be
I believe Sony definitely is acquiring or definitely has acquired Bluepoint Games. I'm just waiting for the official announcement. I just wish Sony had acquired Quantic Dream.😭
If they have Bethesda make New IP’s exclusive then I have no issue, and if they’re good, hey I might get an Xbox. But making already established multi platform games exclusive is really shitty. That applies to Sony too. It’s very anti consumer and no company should have support for it

They are at least keeping Deathloop & Ghostwire multi-plat. I would expect them to keep smaller titles exclusive but Elder Scrolls level multi-plat because they can make so much more $ farming out the huge titles I would think.

MSFT would be crazy to allow Sony to get access to anything Bethesda related. That’s fine. I don’t know about anyone else, but that’s where the S value is for me. I already have my ps5, and getting an S to play Microsoft exclusives. Or just see how the online gamepass ends up being.

MS Will make bethesda exclusives only if enough idiots are buying their products (MS successful = DRM, no second hand and anything they will be able to enforce to milk ever more money.. as they showed and tried to do after the successful xbox 360)
Eh making Bethesda titles exclusive to Xbox isn’t really giving Xbox any games though. They wouldn’t already gotten those games even if they didn’t buy Bethesda. The entire point of having exclusives and buying up companies is to use them to make games they wouldn’t have already been possible if they weren’t purchased. So idc if the next Bethesda games are still exclusive it still means Xbox has no games

1. Sony will definetly buy Bluepoint Games this year it only makes sense.
2. Microsoft should make future Bethesda games exclusive ( and doing so losing big chunk of game sales tho i don't know if they care about that ) but selling those games at full price for PlayStation would hurt Sony more Xbox has that Game Pass after all. Tho for me it's not that big deal for not having future Bethesda games for PlayStation.
3. I'd say this is fake.
4.I love the idea of mature story Final Fantasy game : ) but it's a shame that it's action game for me personally i just don't get the full Final Fantasy feel when it's not turn based ( same happend with FF 15 and FF7R part 1 but i will definetly buy it.
