  3. One thing I don't understand from all the streamers is the desire to attach outposts to cities immediately. They can build by themselves and it costs influence (the stuff needed for wonders) to attach them. Why not just let them be and let them build themselves up?

  4. Must be more than one more era. In a historical context, we live in the post-modern era (/ Information age) not in the modern era. The modern era is roughly the 19th century up to the WW I, After that comes postmodernism and it's three ideologies (WW II) and somewhere along with the cold war, we transformed into the information age.

    So Early Modern Era in the game seems to refer to the Renaissance in a politically correct manner.
