Intellivision Amico – In Person at The Video Game History Museum – Part 1

Intellivision Amico – In Person at The Video Game History Museum – Part 1

Today I was able to play the upcoming Intellivision Amico video game console in person. I played several of the games, tested the controller, met a lot of great people and had a ton of fun.

In this first video, I just want to very briefly share some of that experience.
I hope you like this video. Watch for the 2nd video coming soon where I break down the event and give my in depth analysis of everything I experienced.

Thank you.

  1. I don't understand the dynablasters footage. The button presses on the controller don't match to any of the characters on screen. What is going on there?

  2. Ok so I think I figured out the lag issue. It's not the system it's the operator. It's the kind of input lag we see where you fall upstairs.
Putting all of that aside well done Cyrus glad to see getting a 1st hand look at the Amico. Look forward to your future videos on this. And as a wise man once said. Party on Garth. I mean Cyrus.

  3. You're one lucky guy, Cyrus! I hope in part 2 (or 3!) you give us some details about what the controller felt like (since you own tons of controllers for other consoles and can compare) and how the games played (e.g. did you notice any cool features that we haven't seen in videos previously). Also were there any giveaways at the show, like flyers or the like?

  4. That thumbnail 😂😂

Teasing me with the GTO Red Cy lol.

So glad Tommy took so many games with him. Between you and Brett I've had a good look at several games now.

Rigid Force looks to be running super smooth.

Didn't expect to see Dynablaster, that looks so good.

Astrosmash looks stunning. Moon Patrol looks incredible on a big TV.

I watched Brett's vid for Shark Shark earlier. It's a simple looking game but it's beautiful. Seeing the family having fun tells you everything you need to know about Amico.

Glad you had a great day brother 👍
