  1. Script:

Hey guys so we have a bit of halo news here, a reliable Xbox insider, Kobrille released a tweet about a mode in halo infinite. This tweet has since been deleted so this could be true and was asked for deletion or just isn’t true at all. Also none of this is official so take it with a grain of salt. Anyway here is his tweet: I know there won’t be a battle royale mode. To my limited knowledge, instead the team is creating a “Big Team Battle 2.0” mode, which is a better fit for halo, cluding massively enhanced vehicular combat, squad spawning, incoming pelican drops and many more surprises.”

Imma break down this tweet and give my thoughts:

“I know there won’t be a battle royale mode.”

While this guy is an insider and is very reliable, I believe at a point, a battle royale mode was in the works to be in halo infinite. There’s evidence to back up this up but for the sake of the video length, I’m not going to cover it.

“To my limited knowledge, instead the team is creating a “Big Team Battle 2.0” mode, which is a better fit for halo

I can see a big team battle 2.0 happening and I agree 100% that a big tam battle 2.0 would fit halo better than a battle royale as halo is known for these modes, not a battle royale.

“cluding massively enhanced vehicular combat, squad spawning, incoming pelican drops and many more surprises.”

All of this right here sounds amazing and I’m all for it. The mode feels like halo reach, halo 4 and battlefield collaborated to make a mode. And the “many more surprises” adds onto it. With this information I could make a picture of how I believe the mode will be like

I believe this mode would be

An opening animation will be of the teams (50v50) (UNSC VS BANISHED) entering the map. We will then have a small menu pop up on the side to have you pick our loadouts
(loadouts: consists of only primary and secondary weapons of choice. But are limited to only weapons their faction uses)
Once the match starts then squads will rack up enemy kills until they have enough to call in a special vehicle for the squad to use (which the squad will vote on from 4 choices)A pelican will then drop off a vehicle, the squad then uses it on the enemy.

Maybe if a squad needs backup they can request a handful of AI ground fighters which they’ll have 4 choices to vote from. They can choose from 2 snipers, 3 light fighters operating a light vehicle, 1 heavy armed fighter or 5 light armed fighters.

And If a squad player dies then they will be able to spawn on their squad members if they aren’t in combat or spawn regularly. And over time, the map will get destroyed, changing up the game a bit. Once the game is over, a outro cinematic will play, showing the winning team drive and walk across the destroyed battlefield, showing their victory.

This mode will apply to BTB 2.0 strongholds/Dominion, BTB 2.0 slayer/infinity slayer.

if this is real then I’m all for it, and if it’s not then I hope it becomes a thing in halo infinite.

Anyway, that was my take on this. Let me know what you think. Anyway, I’ll see y’all later.
