Artorias’ sword was a miss imo. Just because you can get his sword, doesn’t mean you become him. There’s nothing inherently magical or powerful about his sword that you don’t get to use yourself. You just don’t use it as effectively because you aren’t Artorias himself.
The Majestic Greatsword was one of the best weapons in Dark Souls 2. You equip it left handed for access to the special moves, the right handed moveset is still a good moveset, it has great damage scaling, and it had a powerstance when you dual-wielded them. It was one of the most commonly seen weapons in the fight clubs at the bridge
Not a weapon, but in Need For Speed Most Wanted, Earl's LanEvo is way weaker than you expect. The rubberbanding buffs the car SO MUCH for no reason, when you get his pinkslip, you get so disappointed and your day is also ruined.
Virgil is a beast with his weapon because it was made by his father specifically for him, to unlock his abilities. Like Dante's unlocked his. It sucks when you use it because it wasn't meant to be used by you.
The Dark Souls make sense in all honestly – even from the very fist game they're really emphasizing the weight of the items esp the weapon in conjunction to its attack / physics animation (all weapons are). So your human size compared to the giant size of Artorias would automatically make a difference when it comes to weapon handling.
personally i disagree with the mr fries one. he never used that grenade during the fight with him, he used his freeze gun, the freeze blast wasn’t a boss weapon.
If you think about it, you really don't wanna be using the staff of Hermes Trismegistus to whack things if it gives you immortality, in case you hit a little too hard and snap the ancient magic metal
Hey! Use of crappy weapons and still win is bragging rights! Like using Dan from Street Fighter against someone when that character first came out. I mean, remember beating the original NES Zelda game with the weakest combo of weapons challenge? Remember doing that with the first Nintendo 64 Zelda? It took an epically long time but it was an excuse to have a non-party party while people are watching each other play games in top-tier HARD mode and sh^t talk each other.
Don't give a nerfed variant of the weapon and pretend it's the original. Admit it within the world. Give me an "aspect" or and "essence" of the weapon, perhaps to craft or imbue other weapons with. I'll be very happy and won't feel cheated.
Marias swords from Bloodbornes old hunters dlc comes to mind, when she has them they're 2 long swords infused with blood magic, when you get them one is just a little dagger.
Halo 2 still looks amazing
goes off on mispronunciation and proceeds to mispronounce Isu
The staff of Hermes name always remind me of Persona 3
basically every dark souls weapon that you can transpose
Speaking of pronunciation lmao, Isu is supposed to sound like "Issue" still love every single video ya make
Artorias’ sword was a miss imo.

Imagine trash talking one of ds2's coolest swords… and holding it the wrong hand without the correct stat requirements…
Also, the Medua’s head from Terraria. VERY disappointing at the time you get it and how hard it is to get.
Falcon, the majestic great sword from dark souls 2 is incredible if held left handed. Love that version
Seems gamers get shafted with the budget variant!!
Are you kidding me?

Johny silverhand but he isn't a boss, obviously.

The gif of falcon as that annoying ass chicken in sekiro. Need more of that
Dante might be able to use lots of weapons but it doesn't mean he can use a weapon at its full potential instantly.
U need to use the Artorias Sword in the left hand to get a very good and strong moveset.
(he is left handed lol)
Auf wafentragger e100 :/
I love this guy attitude and way he talks on these videos 😂
Killing Artorius was so awesome.
Virgil is a beast with his weapon because it was made by his father specifically for him, to unlock his abilities. Like Dante's unlocked his. It sucks when you use it because it wasn't meant to be used by you.
Yes Devs always shit on us with that whole Nerfing weapons
Every weapon in metal gear rising
For the abyss great sword in ds2 you have to hold it in your left hand to get special use out of it
Pronounce words the best you can dude, screw those morons in the comment section.
showing clips of when you actually have the stat requirement in dark souls might help
6:20 of course it's not impressive, you don't have the stat requirement to wield it properly, big damage difference between having the stats and not
reality: you have a good weapon but not the skill to use it
Did you put the abyss sword in your left hand?
You need to use the abyss greatsword in your left hand in Darksouls2
Not number 1, but Sword of Aeons in Fable 1. Still love the game.
You forget to include seru sword you get from gala in legend of leagaia.🤣🤣🤣
Is gameranx even a big gaming channel? It's good and all and has like the same audience as fox news, just wondering. 7 million subs makes you rich
Oh you mean every Skyrim boss in the game… Got it
I think you should do a video about elder scrolls games and there disappointing weapons
I'll have you know that the Crucifix of the Mad King is actually a good weapon.
The Dark Souls make sense in all honestly – even from the very fist game they're really emphasizing the weight of the items esp the weapon in conjunction to its attack / physics animation (all weapons are). This makes sense tho right? You can't just pick up a weapon and masterfully use it like its previous owner. Am I missing something?
If it's a gun that suddenly does way less damage then sure Okay
The real weapon nerf when you inlock it is every damn blacklist racers car you get once you beat them in need for speed most wanted
Falcon: doesn't even attempt to pronounce Trismigistus for fear of mispronouncing it.
Also Falcon: immediately mispronounces Isu

It's the same disappointment voldy had on getting the elder wand lol…. +25% precision
Anyone with that staff is really unSTAFFable

Why is it that almost EVERY game reviewer always mess up Dark Souls?
Artorias' Greatsword is damn amazing. AND you can use the spin and somersault attacks in all 3 games. (Unless made from Sif's soul)
Edit: Weapons aren't met with their requirements in DS2 gameplay

virgil?
