Some games have a massive grind. Sometimes it’s worth it, sometimes it isn’t. When real-world dollars are involved, it gets even more complicated.

  1. I noticed a lot throughout the video he said “cause this item is really rare”. But the thing is all these items are just lines of code! Something can’t be rare that theoretically can be made infinitely by copy and pasting. In game currency is just as awful. I give real world dollars for a games created dollars, so I give you something that is recognized globally as valuable and in return you give me something that is only valuable to you ( but not really ). It would be like every time you went to Target you had to buy Target dollars to shop with.

  2. I don't really play online games so the closest I got to this was 1 time on Genshin Impact I decided I wanted to try it out just once & see just how bad the drop rates in rolls are… I already had 5 primogems saved from just playing for free like I normally do but I bought 10 more & that wasn't the most expensive but it was only 1 above the cheapest I wouldn't be able to afford the others… I used all of those primogems & got nothing but junk & it was only when I used the remaining 5 I saved originally that on the very last roll I got Klee! The rates are terrible so I'm glad to say I will never do that again

  3. For warframe, yeah, Rng is your god and master. Khora and Nidus are pretty equivalent in term of grind. It can be 12 8 wave runs, or it can be 200. And equinox is basically two warframe in one, so you have to grind six part, who fell from the same loot table, so more chance to get a part you already have (Night system. Oh my void, night system.)
I think the only things I paid for was 1000 platinum in warframe with a -75% reduction coupon. ANd then a lot of warfame market to stay around this mark.

  4. There's a bit of out of date and wrong information on this for GTAO the most expensive yacht with the most expensive customization options is also 10 million for one, and with Cayo Perico you can grind out 1-2 million an hour easily depending on skill and RNG and Cayo Perico can also be done solo

  5. War Thunder. Fuck that grind. I just wanted to fly jets. I quit after 9 months of being wrecked by PC players having only made it to tier 4 or 5 on US planes.
No other nations, no ships, tanks or helicopters either.

  6. Surprised that you didn't talk about star citizen. A game where you can pay over a thousand pounds real UK money for a ship that's not even ingame yet. And for the ship that are yea you can spend months grinding to pay for the ship. But if you didn't pay that £890 price tag for the 890 jump. You'll loose it next big patch wipe. And the community is mostly made up of rich people who have bought their ships but will just laugh at you for doing the grind when h these words on everyone's lips "it's only an alpha"
