I think the idea with the inflatable omnitool is that it's safe and can fit to different sizes. A rigid plastic omnitool with sharp edges is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and won't be flexible enough to fit everyone, so multiple sizes would have to be made.

The pip boy app is just a bad design it's only practical if you have 2 people in the room while you play fallout 4 as you would need one person dedicated to the app and it's much faster and more reliable to just use the in game feature as I had my little brother literally keep switching my guns with his app when I was fighting so there's that little problem

The silicone jacket for the Wii remote was actually pretty good. It provided excellent grip over the remotes hard plastic, especially after playing a game for a long period of time.
