  1. This single under 10 minute video did more for my gameplay enjoyment than the dozens of hours of content I've watched from youtubers with millions of subscribers. Why they don't even bother to mention that there are mods to the game is beyond me.

  2. Another cool mod that works on vanilla servers is Loki's First Person mod. Its still in the works but I think its the best FP mod out there. Instead of having to press a button to shift between First Person and Third Person, you just use the scroll mouse as an extra zoom in!

  3. I never liked how you were forced to pick between weapon/armor diversity and another slot to fit say, 50 pieces of wood in. So I agree that the game should open up more inventory slots by not punishing you for bringing more gear.

  4. Great video!!! One question though… with Valheim being early access and the devs patching pretty regularly, how do mods effect the game with its frquent patches and updates at this time?

  6. For anybody having issues w/ the mods not working/displaying when following this video..

This guy does not explain/show the correct set-up for the beppin install (the foundation which runs all the mods). It's not just the beppinex folder that has to go into your steam directory, it's the entire contents of the unzipped folder. Just scroll down the page for the beppin program itself. The author explains (and show's a picture) of what your valheim folder should look like w/ beppin installed correctly.

The rest of the vid describing where/how to install the other mods seems spot-on, though.

  7. Thx for those tips mate, rly good stuff. Although, can someone explain how to change settings in better UI? Since i have downloaded and installed it, mobs HP bar shows too late, i have to be rly close to see it, annoying when fighting 2 star trolls or swamp generally. Can someone help plz?

  8. That last mod does take away from the experience, building is part of the game and finding out how best to design and organize your base / build is part of that.

With that mod you can simply surround your tables with boxes and fill when with junk no caring about the flow of your structure, and how effective or inefficient your build / crap house is.

  9. I have 5 mods and thought I'd get more.. turns out I have these mods you showed here already and totally agree that these helped more and not ruin the gameplay at all. The other two mods I have is the advance building mod which can rotate the items in more directions and better archery mod.
