Saw the thumbnail, not even going to bother with this list. First Witcher game has a very tiring combat system (and imo it wasn't even that bad, I got used to it pretty quickly) but pretty much everything else about it was pretty good, take my dislike

The original Spiderman movie game was great. Yes, the second was a huge improvement, but that by no means makes the first one terrible.

I got Watch Dogs 1 a while back through an Epic giveaway, and I just got around to playing it. And playing it I did, as I really enjoyed the story and exploring the game world. I do see where people can critique it, and those who got lost in the hype machine could have their expectations let down, but giving it a go with tempered expectations and you will find quite a solid title to sink your teeth into.
I'm surprised Saints Row to Saints Row 2 wasn't on here because technically the first was like an arcade game of mini games, not really what it is now.
Witcher 3 keeps on giving even years after it's release.

GTA 2 was not that bad lol
The original GTA was hampered by the technology of time. Calling it terrible now is short sighted. Back then there was little to even compare GTA to because sandbox games were not a thing yet. Don't trash the foundation Rockstar's empire is built upon.

Witcher 1 was pretty good. Yeah the sequels were improved but that doesn't make the first one terrible. At least change the title into sequels that improved upon their predecessor by a lot. But I guess that's not click baity enough.
Maybe it's just cos I played 2 a lot as a kid (yes, I'm aware I probably shouldn't have at age 13 lol) but I don't feel like GTA2 at least deserves anywhere near the level of hate it seems to be cool to throw its way nowadays

I'm I the only one who enjoyed 50 cent bulletproof?
The 1st witcher game wasn't that much of a mess, yes it had limitations but that was down to using a game engine they had never used before.
But while the basic game is solid but a little clunky, its very playable and at the time far exceeded any other action rpg being released at the time. You have to remember at the time such genre had been all but written off as niche or dead already by most developers/publishers and here was a small team creating a game based on a barely known outside of Poland authors books. It could of ended up a disaster, but they pulled it off spectacularly and showed people were hungry for this type of game after all!
