  1. My mother passed away from cancer when I was 15, so not only did I bought that Mercy Skin, I also bought it for my GF at the time
I would never spend $40 on "cosmetics"… but it was all donated for the cause

  2. Actually, the rarest in-game Item you'll never own is the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider in World of Warcraft.

To date, 1, and only 1, has ever been seen in game. And that's because, as the tale goes, a player on the EU servers back during vanilla accidentally deleted his mechanostrider (something that would have been quite heart stopping back in Vanilla WoW), and after putting in a ticket, a GM restored it for the player.

However, the GM accidentally gave the player the Fluorescent Green Mechanostrider, instead of a normal mechanostrider. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue, except that this particular 'Strider is reserved for Blizzard GM's and not meant for the general public.

Through an accident of a friendly GM, one player, and only one player, has the rarest mount in WoW history in his collection and no one will ever have a chance at getting it.

  3. I think you should change the name of the title because it just sounds like games with rare add ons not full rare release games

And ps those game items suck I wouldn't pay a dime even if it was free

  4. I really thought that World of Warcraft's Spectral Tiger would have been on here. The card itself on ebay will run you 10,000$ + and in game getting it would cost you the same as having 4 characters gold capped (each character can hold 9,999,999 gold). Especially with all the tbc hype (the expac the card was introduced).

  5. I played RuneScape on the Xmas when the party hat drop happened but I didn’t log in that day as I’m a normal person who spends time with my family on Xmas day.

Wish I’d logged in and got some to sell for “not real life” money now lol

  6. I actually have that Mercy skin, but don't use it very often. The skin is nice and all, but I bought it because I actually thought that selling a skin for charity was a pretty cool thing for Blizzard to do.

I'd love for more game studios to try doing this in the future. There are plenty of great charities out there that could benefit from this sort of attention from gamers.
