  1. They need a "random" button where u can map all additional moves to, and to give matches a uniqueness everytime, u hold that button down while performing a grapple, it picks one of the random moves which are set with a percentage to them so the ai has a higher probability of making that the move executed with the special "randomize" button.

I think it would be exciting just like the Batman combat system where you don't know what block animation will insue next. That randomize button could be updated as wrestlers update their move set, and it allows matches to keep being exiting and not repetitive. May take away some control from the player regard people with extensive moves, but the control is in executing the move, but not necessarily which move the randomize button picks.

Imagine light grappling while pressing the randomize button simultaneously and up executes upper body moves randomly, while down executes lower body moves randomly… Sounds complicated, but it's not really. Can have it to where the randomize button has a higher fatigue meter. Mitigating constant use

  2. Wrestling HAS NOT changed that much in le last 20 years.
Rey Fennix IS NOT le only grappler to eXist in a game w/ a compleX moveset
No Mercy featured tons of wrestlers who had eXtensive movesets
You won't be able to capture every move a wrestler can do in a game
Its not possible. Wrestling games have always had a finite amount of moves per character

Le only way to combat this would be to include a Edit Moveset feature for in game characters
So that le player can update le moves and if we are going to include a Edit Moveset feature
We might as well also include a Edit Grappler feature
So that we can edit le attire of in game grapplers
This gives LONGEVITY to le game
This is why No Mercy was still playable 10 – 15yrs after its 0reiginal release date XD

  3. Game should focus on gameplay, controls, fun factor, have a good career mode and caw. All the extra bells and whistles like a 2k series, not so much…bad idea to convolute the initial game too much, look at wrestlemania x8 or wrestlemania 21 for example, too many carry overs from previous games and all were half baked. Best way to go about this game is to NOT try to recreate wwe 2k but establish a good solid game that can be expanded upon in future releases and maybe some dlc, get a good foundation going first. We dont need create an arena or a universe mode right now, we need a game that is fun and not wwe2k20

  4. I would still like the ability to import my own entrance music for my CAWs and I would even like to be able to record (or import) my own recorded audio. (like a ring entrance with my actual name instead of picking not my name from a list of prerecorded ones) Can you imagine? There will be players/creators out there that gain rep for having great voice over work.

  5. Man WWE 2K games are the worst basically every move gets reversed. Also let's not forget the CPU always kicks out after a finishing move. There hasn't been a good wrestling game since the Nintendo 64 in my opinion.

  6. It may not be the end all be all wrestling game in year one. But they will make sure it’s damn good and not buggy. So I have faith. Everyone working on this is very passionate about it. So that’s going to show I feel. They know it has to hit and make a statement to be taken seriously.

  7. Omega is definitely wrong about not having enough buttons for mapping. It isn't how many buttons you have it's how you incorporate the moveset and animations. For example. X, X, Y could equate to punch punch kick on one moveset and X, X, Y could alternate to another moveset as an secondary. Also there's XX, Y. Opposed to X, X, Y. In other words the first XX has no pause between X's…while X, X is done with a break between X's. Ninja Gaiden, DmC and Bayonetta do this well.

  8. I think a way to extend the movesets would be to have 2 different sets of moves, and a button combination that would switch between them (like clicking in both left and right stick on a controller, or a separate button on a keyboard). Also the ability to name movesets so you won't get confused.

  9. Kenny obviously never played "King of Colosseum" made by the guys that made Fire Pro. They game made controller buttons a non issue. Thanks to that game, you could anyone their full move set because of the sheer number of moves per character and situations available. It was deeper than No Mercy by a long shot as well.

WHATEVER IT IS THE GAMEPLAY SHOULD ALLOW FOR CREATIVE STRATEGY; A GAME SYSTEM TO WIN BY- A GREAT GREAT META BECAUSE ITS FOUNDATION IS THAT GREAT; GRAPHICS AND CUSTOMIZATION GM CREATE A STORY MATTER BUT GAMEPLAY SHOULD BE SKILLBASED SO YOU PLAY WITH THAT MINDSET AND THE GAME FORCES YOU TO PLAY SMART
