Wow, this really isn't the same team as earlier in the year. When they were winning early they were rolling 4 lines, tons of speed, pressuring the puck all over the ice and tons of shots. This team looks slow and were very fortunate to win this game.
Are the Canadians the only team to have a number 1 line that is 100% devoted to defense…weird! Seems to me that Danault will never do the job, 54 goals in 6 seasons with Mtl.
Jake Allen looking really good in this game. The rest of the Habs team?! Meh. I’m not a betting man but if I were I wouldn’t be, in favour of my beloved Habs in the upcoming playoffs. Our defensive play is quite weak. It may be that some of our guys could be playing through injuries or illness. In any event, they did not look strong vs Calgary.
