This is just a quick update for anybody who had missed the news regarding the return of Games Workshop preorders, information about the forthcoming issue of White Dwarf, or the week-long Warhamm Fest 2021 Online event. Lots to look forward to… probably.

  1. I was always interested in Necromunda but that core boxset was just so expensive compared to other boxed games I just couldn't justify the purchase. This new core set looks smaller with less terrain so hopefully it'll come in at a sub £90 price point at 3rd party retailers.

  2. It's nice that the new Necromunda set focuses on tunnel combat again, though you need loads of that wall terrain and a new set of floor tiles to really make it happen. Maybe that's the plan for them, as it would be pretty weird to include the wall terrain and then not go anywhere with it whilst pushing 3d combat that uses other stuff.

The tunnel stuff always felt much more like the stories and lore of Necromunda than towers and walkways ever did.

  3. I'm glad to see White Dwarf acknowledge the existence of Cursed City. Hopefully this is the start of some kind of post-release support for the game in the coming months. I still have no clue what the future holds for the game. I'd love for them to clarify what we can expect on thursday, but I don't expect anything.

  4. I hope we get some good Kill Team news this week. Either the announcement of an annual or just smaller releases to encompass factions that have gotten 9E updates. I'm also excited for Sisters of Battle news as that's my new army after I'm finished with Necrons.

  5. I hope you share your thoughts about the new Radukur model reveal and about the debatable public spoiler.
My interpretation is that they scrapped the boxed expansion and are just selling the model AND not saying anything about it.
Its only been a few weeks and they are already saying what happens at the end of Cursed City, I took offense.

  6. Don't like them- because the "Scenery" is too complicated to get done up. If there ever was a game that is screaming out in the darkness for the cardstock scenery, it's Necromunda.

  7. You should really give Necromunda a go again, it's kinda like 2.0 now that almost all the gangs have their own codex, sure stuff goes out of print all the time but the new books contain all the cards and there are a tone of new scenarios and stuff, not to mention goonhammers articles and campaigns, it's really good fun.

  8. Love your channel! Regarding Cursed City – the thing I can't comprehend is – for comparison, secrets leak out of APPLE constantly, there are websites devoted to Apple leaks and rumors – this is one of the most secretive companies out there. I don't know how many employees work at GW, and if there are blood oaths of secrecy more engrained than Apple's impositions, so while I'm sure they guard things closely, I can't imagine it's as military-grade top-secret of a place as working for Apple is. How can it be that people on the interwebs don't know/are connected/related etc. to people that work at GW corporate, and pick up on rumors, pry info, etc.? There has to be some intelligence on the Cursed City situation somewhere, and what the real deal is with this unfortunate game. I've seen the guesses that people have conjectured, which may or may not be close to reality, but there does not seem to be any substantive leaks or intelligence that people with connections have acquired or are willing to share. Surely there must be individuals that have heard something about this predicament from their friends that work over in Nottingham… some sort of guidance or expectation… Aren't there? If leaks and accurate rumors can come out of Apple, I mean…….. in any case, just ranting.
