I'll see you in Valheim! Co op with Capac the Brave

Capac and I have been looking forward to Valheim for ages and wow, did it not disappoint. It’s impressively well polished for an early access survival title and I very much enjoyed it. Hopefully it’s got legs because I very much enjoy the world 🙂

  1. Loving this game. Been experimenting with using the logs as weapons; ideally as catapults. No clue if there is a way to create tension but with two people you can push them upstairs and hold them in using an angled piece of wood support. You can roll this out at attacking enemies so somewhat useful!

  2. Not only does Valheim look really good and I am tempted to buy it due to this (and the other with Wasted and Co) Stream. This has also enforced my belief that you can Capac would really enjoy Conan Exiles.

    Exploration and Combat to keep you both entertained, much loot for Capac, and so much possibility with greebling and building for Splitsie. Not to mention that your Workbench upgrades are actual people, and I feel given builds in Survival Maybe, Splitsie would feel compelled to build each and every one of them a place to live.

  3. The RBLF would like to offer the following historical fact;

    Roman legions used to wrap pigs in straw and soak them in oil and light them on fire. They would then release them towards the enemy. The pigs, terrified of the fire, would run towards the enemy screaming in terror. This would disrupt enemy ranks but was especially effective against armies with war elephants as the pig screams would panic the elephants causing them to stampede thru their own ranks.

    Only domesticated animals are at all comfortable around controlled fires…

    Sincerely;
    The RBLF

  4. Having watched a few other people's stream, you may need to increase your party to complete the harder zones. I am not sure if the bosses level, but I have seen parties of five wipe. Good luck!

  5. 4:11:37 You can climb the ladder on the raft, you just need to aim at the ladder with the cross and press the E key 😀
    Also, you can repair literally anywhere, just use few logs and build the crafting station, repair what you want and remove the repair station 😀

  6. Hey Splitsie! I would love to see you do a "Learn how to build" for this game. Maybe you could test a bunch of different methods of foundation building, frame building, order of operations and the like. Love your content as always.

  7. "There's something with red eyes down on the beach!" … If its passed out face down in its own vomit, then its probably an English tourist with no idea where the hell he is or how he arrived in Valheim…

  8. You do not get flown in by a Valkyrie but by Munin with the tutorial bird being Hugin; Hugin and Munin are the two ravens that sit on Odin's shoulders and act as scouts to the realms beyond his home of Asguard; Hugin and Munin translate to Thought and Memory respectively; Splitsie has the pronunciation of Hugin right

  9. Funny you should mention Ark, as I've just been watching Neebs Gaming's 'cinematographic' play-through. Very entertaining, and something I think you and Capac would enjoy playing – although, to be honest, I think you'd probably need to enlist the aid of W4sted, Shack, et Al, or a small 'tribe' from your Discord to actually make it through the end-game bosses… It might be fun, though, just trying to survive, explore and establish a small settlement; end-game goals be damned – lol
