  1. I wasn't aware of PlayVS before, and to be honest, with everything that has happened and is still happening in the FGC, I'm very concerned about whether a Nintendo partnership with a company with a similar model specifically targeting kids is the right place to go. Granted, it gets Nintendo exposure, but it just seems antithetical to their stance with the aforementioned community. I'm assuming that if Nintendo isn't ignorant to that threat, and if they're willing to put their stamp on it, then there must be a system of checks to make sure bad stuff doesn't happen, but I dunno. I'm worried it could blow up in their faces.

  2. With the whole Play Vs thing, it's America and Canada only like most things, and as someone who lives in the UK, I feel like we don't get any opportunities like this.

  3. Saw this on Nintendo Switch news, and pretty much that my fams, and I haven't been playing switch game in awhile, and I own a new gamecube game call Mario Golf Toadstool Tour which I pre order on ebay for $30s. Never have play a Mario Tennis game on the switch, but I am looking forward to Mario Golf Super Rush to come out on the 25th including E3.

  4. I'm probably in the extreme minority here, but I learned a decent amount of programming from messing around with StarCraft's Campaign Editor. I even tried to make a futuristic Zelda campaign with upgrades and dungeons. 🙂

  5. Nintendo, i am ANGRY. in the Player's Pulse, you ERRORNOUSLY say Isle Delfino is the winner of the poll, when anyone can go to the Tweet for themselves and see VERY CLEARLY that Wuhu Island is the winner with 37.7%, beating Isle Delfino (which has 35.3%) by *2.4%*. there's no way you can round that to make Isle Delfino win.

you ALSO mention that Isle Delfino "won" at 39%. uh, sorry? where did you get that number from? Isle Delfino was in the lead, until campaigning by myself and others brought Wuhu Island to victory hours before the poll ended (and keep in mind, this poll was posted on May 19, 2021. this podcast is live June 2, 2021. they had PLENTY of time to double check). the Player's Pulse is, to put it simply, rigged in Nintendo's favor. they can say any of these four options won and people here in the comments will not bat an eye since Nintendo provides no easy way to check the Tweet and see the actual results for themselves.

i will not let this mistake fly unnoticed.

  6. Just so everyone doesn't start calling skyward the best even though it is very good, here are my top 5 "3d era" zelda games. 1. Majoras mask, 2. Ocarina of time, 3. Skyward Sword, 4. Twilight Princess, 5. Wind Waker. I consider botw to be open world. Yes i think skyward is better than tp and ww because of its better story and dungeons.

  7. The only thing they could talk about for Never Yield was the music. Not gonna hate on a brother but, the repetitiveness of the demo, of its assets, and how unclear the guidelines were to pass obstacles made it really painful to play.

  8. It's nice that they're still doing competitive Play VS tournaments for Smash Ultimate and Splatoon 2 even though I'm never able to participate in them. But anyway, it's nice that they still acknowledge it even after those games have been around for 3 to 4 years now. I wasn't really interested in anything else in this presentation to be honest, sorry to those who were.
