:'( sad day
Id consider retiring to if i just created one of the worst games in the last 20 years to
The shame balan wonderworld brought was too much for him.
29 after 3 mins
I am not surprised. I think he struggled a lot with getting his foot in the door and get back in the spotlight. He is basically a shell of his former glory days, much like Sonic, trying to get back into the A-List status.
We don't deserve yuji naka
Game so bad made him retire..
Reggie fils-aimé: *retired
Masahiro Sakurai: *will retire
Yuji Naka: Mind if I join you too?
kinda sad
I mean after releasing Balan Wonderworld pretty much the only thing u can do is retire
This is all Balan's fault! I feel bad 🙁
I don't think Baland Wonderworld was the direct and sole cause for this, but it surely didn't help. I kind of get the feeling that he's been put into roles that he's not suited for recently, and it's come to a head as Balan.
I certainly don't think Square Enix fired him and he's just saying he retired. One bad game doesn't end your whole career.
The man isn't perfect, but there's no denying that he still is a very important person in the industry. I hope he enjoys his retirement.
I mean I don’t think he doesn’t have to quit he could just focus on the art design for games he does have a unique art style that he created he he were to go into other upcoming games focusing on him as a lead ART design that be fine but focusing on gameplay is a no for him dude that was the issue hopes he turns around
Seems fair after the humongus dumpster fire Balan Wondeworld was. I really feel sorry for him and I know it's not funny but in the same time, I can't help but laughing when I think about the fact that this game potentially took a big role in his decision. Lmfao
Dang that's tough lmao
This isn't surprising given how careless Naka is.
