  1. I am not surprised. I think he struggled a lot with getting his foot in the door and get back in the spotlight. He is basically a shell of his former glory days, much like Sonic, trying to get back into the A-List status.

  2. I don't think Baland Wonderworld was the direct and sole cause for this, but it surely didn't help. I kind of get the feeling that he's been put into roles that he's not suited for recently, and it's come to a head as Balan.
    I certainly don't think Square Enix fired him and he's just saying he retired. One bad game doesn't end your whole career.

I mean I don’t think he doesn’t have to quit he could just focus on the art design for games he does have a unique art style that he created he he were to go into other upcoming games focusing on him as a lead ART design that be fine but focusing on gameplay is a no for him dude that was the issue hopes he turns around

  4. Seems fair after the humongus dumpster fire Balan Wondeworld was. I really feel sorry for him and I know it's not funny but in the same time, I can't help but laughing when I think about the fact that this game potentially took a big role in his decision. Lmfao
