  1. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a hot fucking mess right now.

Love or hate the story (my feelings being the latter), but the timeline you get summoning materia just means that you are going to get no rewards later on because you already have most of them. If they can still space it out, then they are going to have to add in new ones. It's just poor.
Also having the first installment so drawn out with lots of filler story then they could have at least brought us as far as Kalm rather than have all the junk. Also lets face it, while Midgar is intended to be linear, the side quests and filler content was just bad.

I had been waiting for the game like many others and it was such a let down. Although the combat was great, I'm still going to play the future installments to see how it pans out.

  2. The Ninja Gaiden collection sounds very interesting!

I played NG3 ages ago after grabbing it used for Xbox 360 on a whim because it looked interesting while I was getting another game at a Gamestop.

It was a unforgiving journey from start to finish, but it was incredibly fun once I got the hang of it. I got the Razor's Edge edition later and that was even better with all the extra content.

  3. 'Yeah, like… just buy a PS5.' …thanks Insominac. I used to love playing their games, now they're basically sellouts. I'm not really mad at them, I guess. But the fact that I'm such a fan of Ratchet and Clank and now there's a $500 paywall between me and what looks like one of the best games of that series irks me to no end.

  4. Can’t wait till next year when I can find a PS5 at the store for MSRP… it will be a Griswald Family Xmas tree moment. Young people might not get the reference. 😉

  5. Cant wait for ratchet and solar ash. If solar ash is like hyperlight drifter from the quality, it will rock. FF7 Ps5 version is also on my list but later. First ratchet and solar ash. A poor month for Xbox. Again 🙄

  6. I loved the OG ff7. BUT I couldn't wait to get out of Midgar, because that is when things got really good. Midgar wasn't bad, I just like everything after better. Like you, I am ready to move on, but… They are absolutely shitting on the OG story with the new additions and added in nonsense….like the whisperers. They ruined Sepheroth's entrance.. I will play it just because, but…I just hope they don't butcher the rest of the story or fill it with BS.

Probably in the minority, but I don't ready care about R&C….It doesn't interest me at all.

  7. Yes, Ninja Gaiden was Dark Souls before Dark Souls…as far as difficulty, but way, way faster paced. I still remember beating the first on Hard and I never knew another person irl that could beat it even on Normal.
