So what new games are coming out in May? On top of the two biggies – Resident Evil Village and Mass Effect Legendary Edition – Biomutant is one I’ve been keeping a close eye on for years, so I’m really hoping it lives up to the hype. It’ll be interesting to see how motorcycle open-world game Days Gone fares, because if it does well then we may see even more PlayStation games making the jump to PC. Similarly, if Shin Megami Tensei 3 turns out to be a commercial hit, we may get more Persona and SMT on PC. We’re hoping, at least!

As well as all that, when it comes to new PC games, Knockout City and Hood Outlaws and Legends are your two multiplayer standouts. They’re very different from each other: one is an arcadey dodgeball ball game, while the other is a PvEvP heist affair. And after two years in Early Access, Subnautica Below Zero is finally reaching 1.0. Don’t forget about the smaller indie titles: King Of Seas is worth watching if you’re a big Sea of Thieves fan, and The Longest Road On Earth is a game for those seeking a little calm right now.

If you’re wondering what should I buy or what new games can I pick up over the next month, then you’ve come to the right place. Obviously, you should wait for reviews to be sure, but we can confidently say there are some cracking new PC games on the horizon.

  1. Resident Evil Village – Well, it's Resident Evil, so I probably get this one too.
And if it gets similar fan made outfit (and no outfit) packs as Resident Evil 2 and 3, Hell yeah, I'm definitely getting it.

  2. King of Seas – Oh how long I've waited for better Sid Meier's Pirates! I don't know if this is one, I doubt it, but always interested in tall ships pirate games. Gonna check the more in depth trailers.

  3. Dunno if this month, but I need to do PC upgrade. And it's a bad time doing it seeing how much parts have got more expensive. But Mount and Blade Bannerlord is the number 1 (been playing M&B Warband a LOT now).
And Horizon Zero Dawn complete edition is number 2.

  4. Can anyone tell me what else is coming out this month that I should look forward to? Was hoping for some more titles from this video that are more off the radar, and I knew about every Single player game on this list already outside of The Longest Road on Earth.

  5. Hey don't make fun of Fiat Punto! We still use it in Italy, despite the fact it's 30 years old…
And talking about 30 years ago, the 10th game you've reviewed (King of Seas) looks very much like a modern version of Overboard from Ps1.
