  1. this is not a cover shooter game…it’s says it every where to play aggressively…that is the only way to heal…lol especially if you are playing the tank class, you should never be running for cover

  2. Played thru as trickster. I’d give it a 7 or 8 so far. Music is ok. Cinematic prosaic. Combat ok. But I feel like a marble stuck to the ground and only able to jump by vaulting over things. maps are pretty small. lighting is flat (ps4).

  3. "Lotus do something impressive" …… "Uhhhmmmm……" 🤣😘
The Moment Leyzar demands Instant success and none of us is ever prepared for that. We are more like, "i shot a twig and i liked it".

  4. Game has a bunch of potential. Going to wait to see how the mid/late game is, and if they fix the camera shake and the cover system having issues either refusing to snap or refusing to let go randomly.

Still need to try out the other classes but Devastator was a hell of a lot of fun.

  5. As much as I'm getting a little bored of dodge rolling in basically every game with combat these days…when comparing to Destiny on the shooter with throwables and skills combined…adding in a dedicated dodge mechanic that isn't tied to an ability with a cooldown does mean its combat has the potential to be better than Destiny, which feels kinda shackled by the fact it's a first-person shooter that seems committed to NOT innovating its movement systems to accommodate a dodge mechanic.

  6. In terms of cover, I definitely think there's a place for it in gaming, like The Division SHOULD be all about cover. You're humans getting into gunfights with OTHER humans, you're supposed to be fragile and squishy and cover should mitigate that. In games like this and Destiny and Warframe where you're super powerful, yeah, kinda doesn't fit. You wanna empower the player to play aggressively and not just sit behind cover for hours. That said…

If you're going to develop a cover system in your game, maybe as a last resort to regen health or to keep from dying when critically wounded…definitely need to make it a SYSTEM and not just "hey guys, look, I can snap to cover."

  7. run then melee, also you can respec skill tree any time for no cost…don't think you looked very good at skill tree, also combine it with mods on armor and weapons
