I thought I read somewhere ping is determined by the lowest common denominator in Valorant to prevent one sided peeker's advantage, which means if someone suffers from bad ping everyone in the match suffers from bad ping as well as to not have anyone have an unfair advantage because of their internet

My problem isn’t high ping. I have no issue playing on 80, 90, even low 100s. My problem is when my ping bounces from 80 up to 210 and then plummets down to 60 just in time for me to make a play, only to rebound back up once I initiate said play.

Well makes sense. Riot doesn't fix anything at all in the game. Gun play is a**, bullets never register, abilities kill, etc etc. Makes sense that players are leaving since Riot refuses to work on major problems in the game smfh.

Riot Games always have done skinlines in League for world champions so it makes sense they are doing this for Champions, since its basically worlds for Valorant. Highly probable that they are going to continue to give new skins for future Champions winners. Also hype to see how they will design a skin that fits Sentinels brand 😏

that guy had atleast stable 150 ping i am not lucky to even get that. my ping decides weather i will be playing today or not if its 30-32 you are good to go when it just spikes to 1000 gg without playing. i have not played since past 2 weeks just because of my ping :')

Ping matters when the enemy is like 10-12 ping and u are 60 at least and what matters the most is packetloss in hongkong 1 servers which is ruining the experience here in the philippines

To be fair he climed in Top 10 NA servers not Europe because of how easy it is to get immortal in it. On Europe with 50 consistent ping I am hardstuck s3-g2 on NA with 170-190ping with timing changement I got d2 just by soloQ

there is a huge diff between the normal ping the the high ping
he is a russ so his normal ping os 150 ping for his high ping will start from 155 this is his high ping / ofc he will have some problems like the delay but he will get more chances to hit the op shots i think

if you have stable 150 ping its not even that bad its just bullets are a bit more delayed. if you have unstable ping it's a lot worse then having stable 150
Ngl ping does matter , when my ping bounces to 5000 I can't shoot,pick up weapons , move or anything
150 ping isnt that bad
but when it reaches 200 is when you start noticing you teleporting and abilities delayed such as reyna dismiss jett dash etc(think this one effects 150 ping too)
when that happens, crucial time to put down utilities are delayed and sometimes even dying to it so yes ping does matter
