  1. Dude enough. Starfield and Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls 6 isn't coming to PS5.

They flat out said unless it is content for games ALREADY RELEASED (legacy) on other platforms. Or if there is a binding contract, the games won't be on PS.

Stop setting yourself up for disappointment.

  2. Plan to get a PC next Christmas once all of this stock stuff gets taken care of. Couldn’t give two shits about game pass and playing old games. Like others have said quality over quantity. Play a bunch of mediocre 70 score games or GOTY contenders. If MS every releases something that is quality I will just play it over on PC.

Gamepass will be the death of quality gaming and be nothing but a gateway to micro transactions

  3. I wouldn’t hold my breath on future Bethesda games coming to PlayStation unless Sony allows Xbox Game Pass on the PlayStation platform, which I also don’t see happening because Sony has no real reason to do that. Starfield is a possibility, given the fact that it’s been in development for 5+ years at this point, and Indiana Jones is another possibility given that it’s a licensed IP, but even then I’m indifferent. If these games end up being good, I’ll either pick up a Series X or a PC to play them on Xbox Game Pass.

  4. So Phil Spencer spends 7.5 Billion dollars to drive Gamepass subscriptions to build Xbox's new Platform, but a bunch of Sony Fanboys think they'll lose too much money by not publishing games on ps5. If Gamepass grows to say 100 million subs, that's 100 million times $15 a month which equals 1.5 billion a month, or 18 Billion a year(every year)….Conversely, if they sell 10 million copies of Starfield on PS5 for $70, after they toss SONY $20 per copy, they would only net $500 million, even if you double that with Elder Scrolls 6, you are still nowhere near the meta game of where they see Gamepass going. Sony does need to respond, but everytime they do, Xbox will just go bigger because the only way they can stop other companies from paying for exclusivity is by buying companies themselves. If Sony buys Squenix, maybe Xbox buys Ubisoft. If Sony buys Konami, maybe Xbox buys EA…Whatever helps you sleep at night.

  5. Sony couldn't buy anything anymore microsoft would outbid them maybe a small dev that's about it anything big as soon as microsoft hears about it it's over look at starfeild sony went to buy the rights microsoft bought the whole damn company

  6. Seems like you’re in denial. Microsoft knows Sony won’t allow Gamepass on their service. Yes, theoretically PS5 can get gamepass if Sony allows it but it’s so incredibly unlikely that it doesn’t matter. ES6 and Starfield will be exclusive to gamepass. There were talks with Sony for starfield exclusivity before Microsoft bought zenimax which shows you that Bethesda was thinking about it even if they may not have actually done it. You can’t grow gamepass if you allow the two biggest games coming from Bethesda on ps5. Their entire goal is to earn sustainable revenue over time, they don’t care about the one time purchases that ps5 sales would provide. People have to stop being delusional and accept that these games won’t come to ps5.

  8. Nowadays you got PlayStation fanboys like this guy, crapgamer, MBG trying to damage control and make Phil Spencer confirming exclusivity for Xbox/pc a good thing for PlayStation.

  9. you said it yourself that xbox( microsoft) wants to grow subscriptions & then right after you say that two of bethsda's most important ip's starfield & elder scrolls will go to ps5 ????????? Lmao if they do that then how do they grow subscriptions ????

  10. Xbox GP on paystation no thanks would rather have a more powerful console. Plus Microsoft would love your money and won't care about people getting ps5 over Xbox, SUBS is what matters not you ps people with your one-and-done purchase.

  11. There's delusion, and then there's believing that what Phil Spencer has said this week means Play Station getting Starfield or ES6. There is no confusion. You have to invent the confusion to be confused about what he said.

It's pretty clear: Xbox will honour Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop timed exclusivity on PS5. They will also continue to support online games like ESO and Fallout 76, as well as patching for games that already exist. That's what legacy Games means.

    But that's it.

You also don't seem to understand just how much money Microsoft make from Game Pass, and how much more valuable recurring revenue is to forward investment. Some crude calculations tell you 2m new subscribers, over 1 year (at the moment this number is actually around 1m a month) would make Microsoft more money than selling 12-13m units on Nintendo or Sony, and that only 10m new Ultimate subscribers over the next 5 years would pay off the Bethesda purchase entirely. That's the level of money Xbox make from GamePass and why they don't at all need Sony to make money. You need to get out of this "gaming companies need to sell units to make money" mindset. Not anymore.

As for putting Game Pass on Sony making it the "best place to game", and what that would do to Xbox….Xbox already put GamePass on Phones, Tablet, PC, and soon TV as well as Xbox. The console wars are a thing of the past. Consoles are expensive to make and yield little if any profit. Subscription services on the other hand cost what… Server space? If Sony wants to go to the effort of spending capital making products on which GamePass can then sit…that's a huge win for Microsoft. They want to sell GamePass, and Console is only one way of doing that. There's far more profit in one year of Game Pass than there is in making and selling a console. That's just a fact. It would be a far better move, financially, for Xbox than it would for Sony, which is why Sony won't do it. Nintendo might though.

You see, the issue here is you're still in that last gen "console wars" mindset, and don't understand what GamePass is and how central it is to Microsoft and Xbox going forward…Sony is still going to the cinema to watch a movie, but Xbox is Netflix. And until people recognise that fact they're gonna be awful confused about what Xbox are doing going forward.

And that is what will happen. Sony fans will have to get GamePass on their phones or PC or tablets to play ES6 or Starfield. 100%.

  14. Your comment about exclusives being more innovative is exactly why TES VI being exclusive would be a great thing. Morrowind was ported specifically to Xbox alone and is seen as the best in the franchise. I can imagine this new one trending more in that direction in terms of complexity in narrative and choices, given they no longer have to design for more than one console.

  15. You make me laugh foxy, Sony don't have the cash to buy Capcom ($6.5 B) Square ($6.66 B) or Konami ($8.68 B). While Sony has $40 B cash in hand you need to strip out the money needed for Sony Financial Services Division so it only around $5 B cash to play with not counting Sony's debt which is another $7 B and its total liabilities of $197 B. Microsoft have $132 B just sitting in the bank. If Game pass ever made it to PS you'd still be playing the games through xcloud running on xbox hardware not natively on PS so you'd need a gamertag and you'd earn achievements not trophies.

  16. I don't see what is so hard to understand, streaming service is the future of gaming. This means Game Pass. Xbox is looking to the future where you will eventually be able to play games on any smart device. PS is stuck in the past where they try to force you to purchase proprietary hardware. PS is fighting a losing battle.

Sony wanted Exclusivity and now they have it; so thank you PS; the world is governed by Exclusivity / Pro-inequality system it is called Capitalism eg. look at the Covid 19 vaccine & what Drug companies & rich countries behaviour; a side affect of our money more important than people is Self Centredness.

  20. I agree starfield is way too late in developement to be an xbox exclusive at this point. If it does come out this year they likely already have contracts for it to be on the ps5. Elder scrolls 6 you could make an arguement for it being xbox exclusive but I think it uas enough of a legacy on Sony consoles that they'll still release it on whatever PlayStation were on at the time.

  21. is the creator of the video trying to convince himself that gamepass will come to playstation ? the other thing is that playstation will not share its exclusive titles but xbox will ? how is that logically possible.. is he dreaming ?
why are people finding it hard to believe , that new bethesda games like elder scrolls 6 fallout 5 and starfield will be xbox and pc exclusive , and games like elder scrolls online and fallout 76 will remain multiplatform ( those were the games that phil mentioned that they will continue to support) ? just like playstation now has games like god of war , horizon zero dawn , spiderman exclusives .. xbox will have titles like elder scrolls 6 fallout 5 starfield halo forza gears exclusives to their systems .. deal with it people

  22. Phil Spencer clearly kept the option open for legacy IP that has traditionally been released across multiple platforms. Games like Elder Scrolls fit nicely with Phil Spencer’s stated commitment to existing communities and legacy games. For instance, I wouldn’t be surprised if Elder Scrolls VI released on Xbox and PlayStation.

I am less confident about new IP (like Starfield) coming to PlayStation, even though the game has been in development as a multi plat title for some time. I don’t hold out much hope for Starfield coming to PS5.

  23. I never understood this "too much money and time as been put in to development of it not to come to ps5" like why the fuck would Microsoft care? Wasn't their time or money… they could go fuck it and cancel the whole game.
