Yeah they try to make it look serious here but wait til the obligatory hot springs scene, lol. I've never been a big fan of Tales' character designs before, they were usually a bit too… anime for my taste but I really do like the look of that Egyptian guy and just more adult looking characters overall. I'll be cautiously optimistic but expecting to be let down in the end though. :/

Not gonna lie, the reveal trailer we saw 2 years ago looked way better than this one, in terms of graphics. Optimizing a game doesn't mean it has to be downgraded.

Hyped for the black swordsman who matches Alphen in a duel.
I had, once, predicted that there would be an opposite counterpart for Alphen, associated with ice instead of fire and using katana instead of Western-style swords. Looks like I got that right.
I had thought the "anti-Alphen" would be a Renan instead of a Dahnan, they would have the same voice actor as the MC, and their name would be Alice (which is a pun on "Arise" and "Alphen of Ice"). If I got even that right, then I'm a psychic.
