The yellow numbers are what you're actually going to do with how high you're skills are another youtuber said it when testing shields because when he tried with a low level the yellow number was low and he couldn't block as much as when he put his level to 100

Make a gangplank towards your ships hold that you can wheel your cart on. Leave the cart on the gangplank, access the hold and transfer the ore.

If you can get a draugr elite trophy you can make the iron sledge which is a stronger stagbreaker. If you want to tame and breed pigs I would recommend Firespark81's boar farm.

IMO the game looks interesting so far, but like most games with a stamina bar, it has no idea what it's doing with it so it's a source of frustration rather than challenge. Too many things drain the bar too faster making the whole thing just tedious.

I have a chest on the dock that can be accessed from the ship and just transfer to that, then I can overload myself to another chest.
System you can access the storage of the boat from outside the ship, just make sure its in the right position to do so!
Could place a temporary chest close enough to be reachable from the deck of the ship
There’s a nice stack mod and it lowers the weight a little
The yellow number is the range of damage you will actually do, it's based on your skill level. The orange number is the max potential damage the weapon can do if your skills are high enough.
You can put the cart outside the ship, so u can transport the ore easily near the smelter i think?
According to the Valheim wiki about yellow numbers:
"The orange number indicates the maximum damage the weapon can deal and the yellow parenthesis determines the range of attack damage based on your skill level in that type of weapon. The higher your skill level in a weapon, the closer you get to dealing its maximum damage."
