Patch 1.11 is here and it’s actually much bigger than we thought. We of course get to see exactly what the Breach buffs are as well as the Cypher nerf and the Killjoy buff?
We also have left handed mode, new agent Skye entering into the game and changes to the games economy rules.

  1. riot so fckn dumb and wannna tell us again how we should play, Killjoy cant watch flanks anymore so tell me whats the fckn point of the Alarmbot and turret. its an ALARMbot god sake, on attacker side, what should i do with them? set up for ct,heaven when this is the spots we always hold? And riot said abilities are not for killing, well the turret no longer for watch flanks, so what the fuck should it do?

  2. 84% of people aren't subbed because these channels (yea, HITSCAN, you know you're not the only one) are too businessy and too professional that no one feels like they're included. I subscribe to youtubers / streamers who say hi to their viewers and talk to the people. They have a camera set up in their room with no special effects or backgrounds.

If more of these youtube game-news companies would just drop all of the effects and be more personal and connect with us like a majority of youtubers, they can put RyanCentral in a room with a chair and microphone, decent quality camera but not overtuned HD, and we see his person in a corner of the screen, and the channel was called "HITSCAN Gaming News with RyanCentral" and they advertised it like those Late Shows, I'd instantly subscribe.

This right here? This looks like some kids paid someone with a good voice to read the patch notes, while they added in neat effects in Adobe After Effects. A majority of other channels use irrelevant gaming montages in the background, but I'm glad to say that this one doesn't; when they talk about Skye, they show Skye. When they talk about the initiatior changes, they show that. I'm leaving this comment after a small part of the video, so I hope they don't fill in gaps with irrelevant gameplay montages of Cypher, Breach, or Killjoy.

I highly doubt HITSCAN will read or see this, and even if they do, they won't adapt, so I'm not sure why I even care enough; but maybe someone will see it and realize that we like to SEE a person's face when they're speaking.

  3. lets just put the objective of taking and retaking sites in garbage can and just protect the sentinels. Sentinels have to hide while the duelists will cover them cos after these senitinel nerfs thats more important.

  4. Fine, disable traps, but revealing them and the camera is straight ridiculous!!!!!!
High Rank Players: Everyone know the camera spots…
Cypher Main: Not everyone plays ranked and I have proof that 90% of players NEVER SPOT MY CAMERA!!! But go ahead, ruin the game, you'll be playing it internally soon…

  5. Riot devs receive so much unnecessary praise. Why do they make changes based on ONLY pick rate? Do they play the game? Since day one (even during beta), Breach has been one of the strongest agents. He is, however, not as intuitive as other agents since his flashes are much better utilized as team flashes. So Breach is just a bit more awkward to pick up than Phoenix for example. Riot dismisses inherent game design and interactions, looks at pick rate and do their buffs and nerfs accordingly. They gave Breach another flash, and now they're longer in duration? What is Riot thinking? Pick rate alone doesn't indicate agent power/potential…

The pick rate thing is also why Sage was nerfed into the ground, which, in game design, really didn't make much sense. A character is overpowered when your team always has one and you hate it when the enemy has one. I don't ever remember thinking "The enemy team has a Sage, wow, tryhards. They're just picking the best agents." Sage was never overpowered to begin with. Perhaps her wall distance of 20m or whatever was too long. That's pretty much the only change they made that was clearly the right decision. Nerfing her slow radius, heal (it doesn't even heal anymore) just goes to show how out of touch Riot is with their own game.

I doubt Riot will ever let the community have any influence on their game. That's just how Riot is with their games. But take a look at Valve. Money hungry, didn't care about CSGO since it had no competitor up until this point, etc. However, they let the community have such a large role in the creation of the game and its development. CS started out due to the community. The community will always make a game better in combination with developers. I can't really criticize Valve as much as Riot when Valve literally doesn't give a shit and gave control to the community via map creation, workshop, etc.

Two factors are pretty important for offering criticism for games/game devs. (1) How much do they care? (2) How much input does the community have? If the devs don't care, am I going to attack a strawman? If they don't care, then criticizing them is like beating a dead horse. If they do care and put out a lot of updates, then it's much more realistic to actually criticize the game. If the community has input, then the game devs have much less to be criticized on. Riot and CSGO are on complete opposite spectrums for these two factors. It's very hard to criticize Valve devs when they outright do not care and let the community handle so much of what the game has to offer.

that being said, it's just a game OMEGALUL
