Valorant ranked is looking to get an overhaul in 2021. With an LP system being datamined similar to League of Legends and a Clash Mode being teased by the devs. We sat down with Anderzz who is an experienced LOL player to talk about what these changes mean for VALORANT and how it’s expecting to look in Episode 2.

With Immortal becoming uncapped, I'm thinking that they're going to make Radiant top 500 only or something like that
2FA Ranked. Solves a lot of problems tbh.
Riot does have in game tournaments for cash in Legends of Runeterra, so it's not far fetched to see that coming to valorant as well

I’ve gone from plat 2 to gold 1 over 8 games where I get at least 20 kills a game and I go down 2 or 3 ticks. They need to fix it
i personally think valorant should straight up copy more stuff from CSGO and LOL.
like add maps from GSGO lol maps are terrible in valorant…
i don't play LOL, but there should be lot of things you can copy from it..

This is cool and all but I would also prefer if the allowed us to see our unrated elo points that way we can still feel like we are progressing towards something but also still have to ability to play with our lower ranked friends at the same time
Im 100% sure that ranked needs to be improved….I have seen platinum player with better aim and game sense than players in immortal lobby

The change would be good but it won't stop the main smurf problem. Espacially for the ranks between silver and Plat. But I still have hope they do something. But the Clash thing could be a great thing. 🙂
the clash thing can also be flex but with the rewards thing it really can be clash

Are they ever going to add your stats? K/D ratio, win/loss ratio, accuracy on different weapons, things like that?
Silver team vs TSM, yeah its actually better that's avoided. TSM had a bad year as it is already.

It will not stop smurfing! 🤣 Reset the ranked of everyone and allow the ppl only playing solo until they get a ranke. So the smurfs can't carry ppl up tp rankes where they not belong! I lost my P2 ranke today again cause ppl are playing way to bad for this ranke cause they got boosted af.
Valorant ranked is the worst, matchmaking is based on rank not on mmr. For example, there would be a plat 3, two plat 1s, a Gold 3, and one Gold 2 on one team. On the other team there could be three plat 3s, and two Gold 1s. The match maker believes that the plat 3s should be able carry the weight of the gold 1s but most of the time this is not the case as in these mid tier ranks especially, most people are either smurfing or boosted. I would not be surprised to see the gold 1s out preform the plat 3s. And on the other team their plat 1 would be a smurf would be absolutely destroying everyone on the other team. Going into a valorant game I don’t go “oh wow I’m going to try harder and aim better than my opponents to hopefully rank up” I go “wow I hope that my smurf/boosted player rng is better than the other team.” As a diamond 3 Jett op player who dropped to silver 3 after the op nerfs, I have seen this phenomenon happen on all spectrums of the ladder. Speaking of my descent as a Jett op player, I started it out as one of the pioneers of the meta, ever since it was considered c tier, it was thrilling to slowly see my play style make its way to the top and me getting rewarded for mastering it almost reaching immortal. I was glad when riot said they weren’t going to nerf it after people complained about it only to have them nerf it anyways. You know something is wrong when you have high diamond players drop to silver 3. I have never had such a bad competitive experience outside of valorant.
If they’re fixing ranked, hallelujah. I won over 6 games in a row as silver three and never moved up
im iron and im trying to rank up its just me and my random always stumbled with smurfs and im tired to do ranking… soo i play unrank or spike rush not also smurfs ill included cheaters here i always stumble one and they turn it off their hax when they got spotted
They could do the LP but i dont see them having you win 2 out of 3 games in promotion series just to rank up once.
i'm more excited about the "clash" tournaments, it would be awesome to play tourneys with my bois

i disagree the league rank system is so toxic and shouldn't be adapted to a tactical shooter
fix the game first like running and shooting problem the stutter that happens when u collide with teammates
