Video Game preservation is a serious responsibility worth talking about. There is a very real threat to our conservation efforts both from within our society and by extension of obsolescence.
Whether its the hardware, software or the countless works of art that make up our video games, every little bit of it is worthy of preservation. If we do not work to constantly secure our history, it will be lost to our following generations forever. This is mostly focused on far future generations of humans, but it affects us now and today. In this video, I explore this topic and investigate what preservation means and what challenges it faces.
