I’ve been waiting to review the PS5 and Xbox Series X but still to this day cannot find these consoles in stock for their retail prices. The reason why? Scalpers. New laws may be coming to fruition that will may bot purchasers and resellers illegal and prosecutable crimes. I still want to review both of these consoles but I refuse to pay double the cost for each console on Ebay.

XBSX is actually pretty easy to get ngl. PS5 is what's hard to get.
When you get an xsx, please do a video on the audio! No optical port, only licensed headsets and its been reported the quality in sound is still less even with licensed headsets like astro. Greatly appreciated
I got a series x on day one pre orders and it was chaotic af. So happy I got one. I hate that this happens, but making this illegal might cause other issues if not done properly that’s my biggest concern.

If I were Microsoft or Sony, I would make a stipulation that new consoles can only be sold in stores, or curbside pickup. No online shopping and delivery. Thats how you win this console generation battle. I'm sure game and Peripheral sales are down.
More consoles should have been sent to actual shops and gaming shops but no Sony and Microsoft wanted to save money so they put more consoles online to buy now bots are buying them first and fuck it for everyone

I don't understand why they can't go with that idea of 1 per household now? I literally can't get a ps5 or a 3080. I waited for years to build a pc because of the 2080 ti price…. Even if they did 2 per house, how are they allowing hundreds or thousands to go to one person

Personally I never have liked resellers PERIOD. It ruins global economy along with in-game economies. We wont talk about in-game resell but IRL resell is BullSHIT. Bots gotta go. All form's of resell should be illegal unless it's sold at msrp. That would fix the consumer market for good.

So can you actually tells us how many Xbox and PS5 consoles are been delivered to retailers recently and how many have been bought by bots?
I would have thought by now that all consoles sales would be pay at store only events managed by emails ( as not to attract a crowd due to Covid) if bots buying all consoles was still common practice – or the retailer bring the site down and change it in someway that the bot code would not work allowing people to buy the stock.
Looking at this from a high level view, you can not get hold of a phone, TV, microwave, gaming chair, CPU, GPU or anything that comes out of China – I honestly dont think this is just a bot issue.
