Sure, the new Mortal Kombat movie just came out today but I need some time to properly review it. So, Justin and I decided to put up a review today that he wanted to do for years. It’s on the 1993 (prototyped in 1992) arcade game “Lucky & Wild” by Namco. L&W is a first-person racing/shooter that fits right in the buddy cop genre like Tango & Cash and Starsky and Hutch. However, it’s super cartoony and over the top. Players choose to be one of two different characters: Lucky, who is always dressed in fashionable suits and does both driving and shooting; and Wild, who is a wild and crazy guy who only shoots. The object of the game is to help the two heroes capture five wanted suspects in five rounds of high-speed chases.

Yes, we want
Wow, impressive. Would love to get a complete arcade cabinet for myself …everything included what now-a-days is missing in video gaming so much …..
by today's standards the sequel should be Lucky Pierre & Wild, and you're on a motorcycle instead of a car
In Japan, they also have the driving wheel on the right side, and drive on the left lane on roads. Maybe the artwork was for the Japanese version, but the driving wheel was swapped to the right for west imports?
But the characters names in CHIPS are JOHN and Ponch. Not Joe and Ponch
One of my favorites.
Dude, I don't remember this game at all. However throughout the 90s I was always in arcades.
When you played the sounds of the two characters talking in the rear-view mirror I DISTINCTLY remember the "My car's trashed!" sound bite many times in whatever arcade it was. That's crazy
I've played this it was great.
I recall this arcade from back in the day, but dont remember the gameplay.
Please. Absolutely more of this.
If the girls down at the garage dressed like that my car would be serviced weekly.
Never heard of this game in my life probably wasn't released in Europe looks great tho
The Picante Video Game Nerd
Sees another awesome dude advertise Bright Cellars Shame I'm a teetotler
It's Chase HQ on steroid.
And tonight, we will clean the streets.
I played this back in the day and it was great. Definitely one of the most unique arcade games out there.
This game was the high of all pseudo 3D genre in graphics and sound design.
Justin pronouncing the G in "Murtaugh" is adorable. And I'm sure Jon Polito is resting happily knowing that his work in Blankman hasn't been forgotten.
This was my favourite game in the UK!
I've never heard of this game, but it looks pretty radical…just like me!
I haven't been to an arcade in a while, but there should be more team based arcades like this. And Simpson's, TMNT, X-Men… all 4 players.
Maybe like a scale model B-25 or B-29 with front gunners, tail gunners, top, bottom, side gunners…
Ahh… yes….Operation Wolf…an arcade game that I absolutely loved, so one day I saw it at Walmart fir the NES…I had some money so I did the logical thing…I bought it! I got home, played it for an hour…beat it…took it back and traded it in for Pit Fighter on the Sega Genesis…I got a crapload more gameplay out of PF than I ever would have with OW. In fact, I always enjoyed the Genesis version of PF more than the arcade.
Thank you guys for this review it's always a joy to see Justin and Tony.
Make a Mortal Kombat 2021 review, oh man it will be so funny to see James reacting to that.
But I did play this in metroland
03:27 jesus is it difficult for Justin to google on which is side steering wheel is in Japan? Duh 🤦
The nostalgia
I actually DID play it.
Played it back in the 90s and have really fond memories of it.
Aaah Memories! 😌❤️
I remember this game forgot the name though
I played that at Namco
Is that Jason Goldberg from Hack The Movies fame? Wowee!
Loved the video, could this be a new series? 😉
My favourite arcade game back in the day, so much fun!
Loved this game!!!!!
2:50 Nice Pump It Up cabinet. Review that!
This used to be at the Redondo Beach Pier at the fun arcade
They drive on the left in Japan…………come on dude.
