I mean, spec is fun, fun to click spells, fun to click cd's. However, how long can the fun last when this spec is really really behind other specs? My 50 rouge is doing same aoe dps as 60 heroic gear enh and better single then my enh. Its kinda sad tbh
how is the survivability of enhance for solo content? im bored of Beastmaster hunter but the thing i love about it was the ability to solo stuff.
Liked. I just discovered this channel now as I decided to go from DK main to Enhance for shadowlands. The only issue I have with Enhance is it feels really squishy (especially coming from a Dk main). I find I am using my maelstrom stacks keeping myself alive as opposed to DPSing with Lightning bolt/chain. Any tips for survivability?
I kinda got pushed away from playing enhance although I was set to main the spec. The class fantasy is really good and I like the style of the spec, but it felt so slow at many points during unlucky periods without proccs. Also putting down windfury totem again and again in dungeons when the tank pulled it out too far felt not that good. I don't know what it is, but it didn't hook me in like I hoped. maybe I pick it up from time to time, but the excitement factor for me is pretty low atm.

If they remove the global cd own mailstrome weapon for cl and lb it would feel so much better.. also keeping up the totem buff is also pretty horrible.. right

Short answer: pvp no way.
How overwhelming is the rotation? I know enhance is juggling a lot of plates but seems like it could use some pruning, I mean you have fire and frost shock, stormstrike/lava lash your instant LB/CL casts fire nova if you talent into it, covenant abilities, and crash lightning, windfury totem maintenance, your dps cd's of ascendance, feral spirit, bloodlust, earth elemental. All your totems and healing surge. Fury warrior and ret have a similar feel to me as enh but their rotation is so much more streamlined, as much as I enjoy enh having 24+ hotkeys I use regularly is a bit much.
I mostly play PvP. Fun alone isn't going to make it work for me… 😂. I don't wanna get obliterated by every other single class in the game. So until they make some huge damage boosts on this spec one day, it's a no.

Ok, some feedback. The explanation to why needs depth. Enhancement shammy is my main and the why is because the rotation is fun and satisfying. I am topping every dungeon right now and owning in single target and AoE. Enhancement shammy was the rare class in top mythic keys are well during prepatch when everyone was looking the other way. People are experimenting with haste builds. Prove people wrong and test it out on the training dummy. Bring the player and not the class.
what addon is that where you can see the skill icon on the damage numbers?
I've been loving ENH, other than some QoL changes that'd make it a bit better and it being a bit tough to play in Torghast, it does aweome! The utility, what it brings to a group, etc make it fun and a very busy class.
How do u feel about the sustain of enh in pvp(bg&world pvp) compared to a paladin, which i'm playing atm?
I still struggle with enha shaman but slowly I am getting used to it (mostly key binds and getting used to pvp tempo).

Good utility and cleave just needs better single target damage.
Enhance needs a stormstrike buff and yes enhance is extremely fun I can't stop playing it..lol.

You know what, I needed this video. I've picked my class based on top end goals and have pushed real hard to get 180 ilvl and my legendary and everything to get ready for raid next week but I'm not that really excited to play my class when all that is done. I might have forgotten why I started to play wow in the first place. Shaman was my main back when I just played for fun. I might need to incorporate that back into my decision making process.
