  1. I want a legit dueling guild like they described with people being able to spectate people fighting. I also think their should be an arena solo que but ONLY from inside the duelers guild through like an npc. That way the people that are looking for teammates can maybe find someone that is also solo queueing in the same area. I want a place for pvpers to hang out again!

  2. So many good ideas and intelligent commentary, these guys love the game and express it very respectfully and eloquently. I wonder if blizzard(activision) will even know it ever happened, and if they do will it have any impact on their decisions? Either way, thank you guys for doing this, you're all a credit to the community and the game as a whole

  3. I'm happy to see these top level arena guys disliking the same stuff that I hate about arenas, with the cd stacking and trinket spamming. When casuals and pros alike agree about a problem, somethings gotta change.

  4. i agree that solo queue must be available for arenas I am a working person I am playing the game only 1-2 hour a day and I want to participate arena but actually I could never join arena I spammed looking for arena partner in the big city chats and no one responded so I want to experience the arenas but as a casual player I cant play the highest skill pvp and doing random bgs are not rewarded like arena

  5. I’m hearing the phrase back in the day a lot, and it’s totally justified. Class design, gear systems and the way pvp was designed was simply totally better back in the day.

They had everything right back in wrath to MOP

  6. What about doing something like pvp resources for instanced pvp so instead of like mana, energy etc. Classes will have their own separate resource for blizzard to be able to balance abilities etc. off of that way they can nerf/buff classes off that resource keeping it entirely separate from it effecting pve so that everyone is happy? That way you can make it so healers can go oom and also classes that have heal abilities like pally, priest etc. In dps spec can still use them but at a huge cost to their pvp resource thus lowering their dps output because they dont have that resource to spend idk something like that. This wont help open world pvp but who cares that's far less important at this point. Thoughts on this idea?

  7. yo Rich what if, hear me out, what if u could customize each soulbind for each spec, then kept the dumb conduit reset point system better? Like when deck out 1 souldbind for uh arms then you swap to fury its blank and u can costomize it for that spec.

  8. I think one thing that would help the transmog scene alot would be Blizzard allowing community made sets. Set competitions for artists to submit concepts of different PvP sets and PvE sets. This would be awesome and something that I would actively be voting for every new season/expansion

  9. Maan, I just want the pvp gearing to be BGs -> Arena.

We did bgs when friends were offline, then arenas when ppl came on. It was an experience where you had 0 downtime waiting for fucking lfg ques to sign up to

  10. WoW should just copy the GW2 PvP implementation. Completely separate PvP and PvE, make a new TR open to everyone, where everyone can make any class they want instantly max level and BiS gear. Then you can just PvP all day.

  11. Asmongold; "you got these 3 turbo needs switching talents and things between every boss"
Also Asmongold; "I just want to play all of my abilities. It's not a damage thing, it's a fun thing."
It's entirely a damage thing, otherwise there would not be a need or want to swap. Players like this are exactly the reasoning they locked them. You have talents to swap between, you would not need covenants and do not need them, either. I understand you want to be 1000% optimal in every single scenario, but are you like that in real life? No, you're not. You have limitations, and games are very similar in this regard. The covenants also tie in to your character's identity, in that you are this kind of a Paladin, or this kind a Warlock. You can freely swap between covenants, however, it is just going back that is the issue, so if you're somebody who is wishy washy all over the place with your things, then yeah this system sucks for you.

Also on that note; casuals aren't even going to give a damn about being able to swap conduits or not. They're gonna look at what covenant they want, pick it, then choose the conduits, the soulbinds and everything else they want to go with, not tryharding all over the place. Blizzard doesn't want you tryharding with every little system, if they did there would not be 15 different systems in the first place. Players cannot help but to try and game the systems to their advantage, but again, not something they design the game around nor something they want. Don't like it don't play it.

  13. I think flying mounts is why PvP is pretty dead tbh. I couldn't tellyou the last time I got into an enjoyable open world battle in retail, where as in Classic the first few months I had so many fond memories of PvP battles in the open world, which further increased my interest in PvP.

  14. You ain't going to get it.if shadowlands had zero barrowed power it would be the best expansion ever.

Blizzard systems is what kills the expansions every time and they don't see it

  15. There is a reason that BM Hunter and DHs are the most played classes – it's because they're easy to play and don't require 85 key binds. Most of the things I play (sub rogue/spriest/disc priest/druid) have too many things and have to be macroed to even be playable. Clicking is not viable.

  16. Late to the party but thought i'd drop thouights on this as a person who wanted to return to the WoW PVP scene..

I came back to Bfa to play with some friends, I am solely a PVP player, after leveling a character to 120 I realised the massive PVE grind ahead of me to get gear to even function in a PVP enviroment and decided to call it a day.
My friends suggested to come back for SL, it will be different they said then the recent news about PVP gear gridning and time gating it seems that is not the case. I have since cancelled my sub & pre-order and so have my friends.

The reason PVP is failing in WoW is the entry level constantly increasing, time gating and non pvp grind. I believe gamers have changed aswell, most of us are casuals and know were always be behind the curve meaning always at a disadvantage in PVP even against PVE players. Why would I grind for 7 weeks to PVP when I can just load another game and do it straight away?

  17. not sure why this needed to be 2 hours. there are some other things to be mentioned but, the main point imo would be why is there so much PVE content involved in PVE? they keep it up and they will kill all but the most dedicated members of the community. who in fact are incentivized into convincing others that it isnt that bad, due to monetary gains from views, and carries.

  18. I had the most fun with pvp back in the resilience days, and arena teams. Locked set items based on arena rating, gave you something to work towards. Also a lot of people in general just want to do bgs and have fun killing people, having better resilience gear coming from arenas really incentivized people to do arena. The moment when blizzard stopped requiring ratings for items, and took away resilience the game shifted more towards pve and blizzard just neglected pvp. I also hated(and still hate it) the idea of having separate pvp spells apart from pve.

  19. You guys forget the main reason why the game is in it’s current state. Blizzard want’s the game to be accesable for everyone. Funny thing is is that a really large group of peope find wow really hard to play which is pretty hard for higher skilled players to understand. All classes need some healing otherwise it,s to hard for people to do some solo content. Pruning happened because their were to many button’s to press for the casual players. Mana managment is to hard for casuals as well etc etc.

The game is designed for casual players but they went way to far so it backfired a lot.

Dampening should not be in the game in the first place. It’s a needed debuff because of bad game design.

Imo every class should only have their base kit in instanced pvp. No conduits, no legendaries, no corruption etc.

They should nerf all healing from all classes in pvp by like 30% as well.

Sorry for my bad English btw.

  20. Its so frustrating when streamers dont mention the problem with gearing for pvp, ever since they took out the original conquest system its become more and more hard to compete on a decent playing field in arena, this is obvously an issue streamers dont deal with, as streamer privalege with mythic raiding is extremely relevant, if they took some time to see how diffiuclt it is to gear out for pvp as a random maybe they would be more vocal on the issue, but for me the pvp gearing is whats crippling the playerbase.

  21. Classic WoW is outdate but Blizzard is like those cooks that throw a bunch of fancy shit into a dish and expect the person to like it but it tastes like shit, while all the best chefs in the world keep it simple, bring out more in what is already there and make it pop. I was ver upset at what the game became not that it will ever matter but I want a newer version of the game I signed up and fell in love with over ten years ago.

  22. Suggestion:
Bring back Pvp sets, Blue set from crafting, blue set from bgs, purple from rated arena/rated bgs,
Make it so these sets count toward the same set bonuses, meaning you can have three slots from crafting/bgs while you gear up and add the rated gear as you obtain it..
Have the setbonus be for example fillers deal more dmg for dps and healers restore mana with certain abilities
