  1. im honestly disappointed about these new consoles, most of features are not yet in use and who knows how much longer will we have to wait. and low availability isn’t helping, there is a lot less pressure to make these things work if the user base is low.

  2. MS said XSX has 24tfs of 16 bit int acceleration and 97 tops of 4 bit acceleration of ML . the big question is if this is the max number because the hardware blocks can increase this up to 10X.

  3. I've noticed Digital Foundry has covered comparison bluray drives in consoles in the past so i wonder if they'll cover it and explain why Series X has frame skipping problems compared to PS5? please look up HDTVTtest channel on Youtube 'PS5 vs Xbox Series X 4K Blu-ray Player Comparison' and skip to 6:26 for the analysis). Seems to be a trend with Series X/S stuttering, Control & Jedi Fallen Order also stutters whereas PS5 runs smooth as a babies.

  4. I hope we get some more information on that frame rate doubling tech the series x/s is gonna be using for older games. That's probably the feature I was most excited about tbh. Mad Max would benefit greatly at 60fps. I really liked that game but the input lag at 30fps was horrible so I eventually stopped playing it. I'd love to play through it at 60fps, and it ran at 1080p on the base xbox one so it'll look decent on my 1440p display with auto hdr

  7. Hi Madz my son who has very sever autism says he loves your video's, I see you have autism too, keep up the great work. I got my son an xbox series x as my family of mine have told us that many young people with autism play on Xbox, so its nice to be in the same circle of people all playing together. We must be strong and see autism as a gift, not as a bad thing! 🙂

  8. Gotta say that in games that have DLSS, it's amazing at how well my RTX 2060 in my laptop can do. Control for example, @ 1080p I can maintain 60 fps with RT no problem, I hope AMD's solution is just as good. Honestly it's the future of gaming, and could greatly extend the usable life of graphics cards.

As far as I understand MS has their own ML AI that has been in development for a long time now and they plan to use with the Series X and subsequently won't be using AMD's solution. There's an interview with James Gwertzman, Microsoft's game stack General Manager where he talks about it over a year ago. At that time they were already very impressed with the results they were seeing (said they were scary good or something to that affect), and figured it would allow them to ship games with low res textures saving a lot of storage space etc… Based on that I'd expect they'd use their own tech, or perhaps AMD's is based off of it, I guess time will tell.
