They buried the truth, prevented reviews and LIED, saying it worked, “surprisingly good.” It’s actually surprisingly bad on current gen. No one insisted that it had to be for PS4 or XBox1? THEY told us to go buy it, and then hoped to get away with murder. Total rip-off! Shame on CDPR!
The xbox series X version on performance mode is running at higher settings , with more density and npcs , better textures , better effects that are missing on ps5 like AO and on top of that is running at higher resolution 2304×1296 vs 2160x1215p on PS5 understandable that the fps are going to be more solid on a version that is literally running a ghost town with no cars , no npcs and lower re textures and effects..
The reason series x was dropping in frames more often was due to the increased amount of npcs and graphics on the series x. Ps5 has reduced amount of npcs and graphics
Am I the only one who experiences massive frame drops on PS5? Especially in the city where NPC’s are. I don’t understand how all these channels are saying it’s an almost always locked fps? My experience was that it was all over the place, felt super laggy when frames dropped and it was noticeable, even after the most recent update
I'm glad to hear that the next-gen versions of cyberpunk 2077 are performing better. The game will probably run EVEN BETTER once we get the full update. It can't get here quick enough!🙏😱😁
Hopefully the native gen versions fix these issues next year. For now I'm playing on PC at 30fps on a GTX1070 working great, no crashes after 20 hours or so.
The series x is not more efficient on paper it has more power but only with tflops (marketing term that means very little) and cpu clock with smt off (which no one would do, with smt on its 3.6ghz). The ps5 is a much more efficient console than the series x.
Yet another 3rd party game that "plays best" on ps5 vs the series X. I'll take a stable 60 vs having 2 modes. And the Xbox was supposed to be the frame rate king. Hope y'all enjoy your flip flops

Looking at other videos it appears obvious that xbox performance mode has higher settings than the PS5 ones. So the frame drop is explained!

Lol using a tv for a ps5 us a monitor so you can get that 120
ps5 with mouse and keyboard would be optimal right now. PC's cant get solid framerates at all.
