Is Halo Infinite going to be taken off the Xbox One consoles because of the poor performance. Did the July demo that was shown hurt the game on PC?

Rumors are saying that Halo Infinite will be an Xbox Series X exclusive on the next generation hardware. Does this mean that supporting older consoles is going to stop? How can Sony and Microsoft show that the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X games can run all games on old hardware.

Sony’s Ps5 and the Xbox Series X are looking to push games even further, especially with the next gen features.

  1. Fact one…Microsoft has already said that all major titles coming out in the next few years will support Xbox one consoles(Smart delivery). Fact two…..the slipspace engine is very scalable and development of this engine took place some years ago when halo infinite started development, For Microsoft and 343 to go back on there word and not support the Xbox one on this Major Title and leave over 5 million gamers behind would be a major mistake. Fact Three…..343 has the development tools, budget and support directly from Microsoft so i dont see this coming close to a problem as other titles that had recently released, Master Chief must be on Xbox one have faith in Microsoft,343,slipspace.

  2. Who cares? Honestly. I mean I get it halo is Microsoft's biggest franchise by FAR,B and used too be one of the biggest in gaming period.

But the game hasn't been great for YEARS. It's been fine, but they have released like 20 games over the 20 years since the original.

They are just milking it at this point. The last one was "meh", so expectations should be metered to that. If it pulls a God of War and totally refreshes the trenches that's cool, and if it doesn't who cares? It'll be fine, the die-hard fans will love it and pay the multiplayer for the next 10 years, and everyone else will just move on.

Does it REALLY matter that a game that will come out in either 1 or 2 years isn't coming to what will be an almost decade old console?

You want another cyberpunk? Because that's how you get another cyberpunk.

  3. This is why I was never a fan of GTV5. They should have waited for PS4 instead of releasing on PS3 at the end of the consoles life. The game has always looked like a55

  4. The trainwreck Cyberpunk probably drove this decision. I feel that some are probably blaming the old tech, and I cant say developer's should tie their games to 2013 technology.

  5. It seems like next gen ain’t doing shit but hurting gaming 🤦🏾‍♂️smh. I don’t even got a series x yet and it’s quite annoying how they’re moving with the next gen of things.

  6. They should just make it a next-gen only game. They don’t need anymore bad press especially because they spent time and resources on a last-gen version. Just go all in on the Series X/S versions.
