Here it is, proof that Xbox does something first Sony will follow.
In a few months Sony will reveal their version of Gamepass and start remaking all their older games to put them on their service and start making their backlog catalog backwards compatible.
Mark my words.
Sony had literally 6 years of time to counter backwards compatibility.
I don’t personally use game-pass but Xbox was playing 4D-Chess in ensuring that the Xbox brand survives across all areas of play. I see Sony following suit.

Imagine there was a PC emulator for Xbox, and now you would be able to play PC games, and enjoy some past Playstation exclusives.
PS strategy with PC is clear…
Launch your game on PS..get the hype..the sales..the movement of consoles..then when that does down..launch it on PC where it won't impact your console sales much..which..is a good strategy..and makes sense considering they don't have the foothold on PC that xbox does
Good thing I ordered a gaming laptop…not for days gone.. personally state of decay 2 is better..but because PC seems to be the only platform that everything is coming too…

IMO, this is not a smart move for Sony. The main reason people flock to the PS5 is for its exclusives. Sony is taking a chance of losing its gamers to the Xbox which has better specs.
