I imported the original from Japan before it was available in the States, so being able to play the sequel and actually understand the menus & dialog should be a fun treat!
Yeah I kinda figured it'd be the same game as 1. Im guessing all the online players will flock to this game though. All 3 of them <.<
Can't wait to to play it and great to see the characters again. But I'm still having trouble setting puyo chains. I'm good with tetris.
The game my younger brothers kick my butt in. I can smoke em in Tetris but get knocked out in Puyo Puyo. Can’t wait to see the characters again and hopefully this time I get better at Puyo Puyo

Appreciate the review. I heard about this about a month ago and really enjoyed Kirby's Avalanche back in the SNES days. So yeah, I want to revisit Puyo Puyo for that reason alone. Debating on whether or not I want to get it for the Switch or PS4 at the moment. I'm leaning towards PS4 because there will most likely be a sale for this game easily in the future whereas Nintendo is extremely stingy on what they think a "sale" is.

This feels more of the same from its predecessor, but overall, this game made me happy. A match made in puzzle heaven!
Sorry if I missed this answer in the video– does the switch version support local co-op? like 2 players on 1 switch? I'm looking for a puzzle game to play with my tetris loving sibling. Also, do I need to know the story from the first one?
I don't know if Its just something that I'm doing wrong but I own the xbox one version of this game and it takes like 10 minutes to find someone to play a match with. Sometimes it doesn't even find anyone at all.
