  1. The 9x is awful. It's not loud enough (thanks to EU regulation) and they are really uncomfortable. Hurt my ears after 5 minutes, the pads are really mushy and my ears were touching the speakers. I returned it.

  2. I got the steelseries 9x this year while I was still on xbox one. They disconnected multiple times every play session and it was extremely frustrating, but I decided to hold on to them until next gen to see if they'd work better. So I got the series x at launch and have been using them since then, and they are now near perfect and have only disconnected once or twice, and I believe its more of a console problem than a headset problem. Glad I stuck around with them, I friggin love them now. Highly recommended

  3. I have the TB Stealth 700 Gen 2, ive been using it for the past 3 months or so. My biggest issue with the headset was the sound on the headset kept on cutting out. Even after updating the firmware the issue still persisted. I purchased an A40 TR w/ mix amp yesterday from BB for $199. Ive only used it for 3 hours but so far it is a world of difference. Super happy so far with the Astro A40 TR.

  4. I wish i saw this video earlier, like before watching many idiots around. Quick, short, important info like medicine. No overreactions, no marketing. Subscribed of course. Hi from Turkey 🇹🇷

  5. Does anyone know the major differences between the 7 and 7x in terms of sound and mic quality. I’m gamin on a series x and really want a steelseries headset. I’m in Canada and can’t find anywhere carrying a 7x and have been seeing others with the same issue. Yet my local bestbuy and Walmart carries the 7. They’re both almost the same price too (7 and 7x). Also the the Xbox series x supports wireless USB headsets now so the 7 will work wireless (It didn’t on the Xbox one which was the main turnaway for Xbox one). Would I be missing out on much if I just got the regular 7 instead of 7x?

  6. This really just highlights the fact that Sony has an amazing Wireless Gold headset, and Xbox REALLY needs their own dedicated version of it. I can't seem to find something that offers similar performance with the hassle free, AMAZING connection that that had with my old PS4

  7. I’d like to buy Penrose X but I’m blocked by the unchangable battery …. No-one angered by the idea that the battery is not substitutable? In about 4 years or less, the duration of the battery will be drastically decreased. Like a smartphone…

  8. dont get the 9x. steel series customer service is terrible. my headphobes were still in warranty but i didnt have the receipt as they were a gift. the left ear stopped producing sound after 10 month and they werent interested whatsoever. stay away from the 9x

  9. I have the stealth 600 gen 2 and if you have a big head like me, youre going to be uncomfortable the first couple times you wear them. I have the adjustments to max length and the compression of the headphones is still a little uncomfortable(compared to my sony wireless over ear headphones) but they work perfectly fine for me, aside from the first tightness, and im not a super hardcore gamer, battery lasts a good while.

  10. Do not buy the (non pro) Razer Kaira…I’ve had em for roughy a week and long story short, when they work they sound incredible with dolby atmos. However, they pop quite a bit and its extremely annoying mid gameplay. Sometimes It’d be static/poppin for 2 min straight. I updated the firmware, downloaded the app, everything. Maybe I got a bad product? I dont know, either way Im returning today so purchase with caution bruh, Damn. (Series S user btw) Side note: TB Gen 2 600 Works well for series S, One of my buddies has it, the ear cups are a bit small tho 40mm.

  11. For the penrose x as was pointed out in your penrose "review". Download the audeze HQ app from for mac or pc. leave the wirless dongle disconnected and plug in the headset via type c cable to your mac or pc and update the firmware. Vastly improves the mic via wireless and makes it the most natural sounding of the bunch

  12. You all saying 'Why no Astro A50?' The Astro A50 for next gen doesn't work out the box for the next gen consoles and the sound quality isnt great after firmware update. There's work arounds like buying HDMI extractors or placing the optical cable into the TV but again the headset is not 100%. Check out the Website/Twitter for more information regarding upgrading the extractors and buying apps like Dolby Atmos. It's not great reading.
