I love how people see an image and run with it with knowing nothing about the customization of the rdna2 sure it's not a standard desktop version nor should it be like the Xbox series x has the standard desktop version the ps5 is a customized version for console and actually does things differently but it's still rdna 2 it's a fully customized version as explained mark corny and amd both stated it's rdna2 it's on amd website that rhe ps5 and Xbox series x are both rdna2 archetecture so who are you going to listen to lol if anything people should be excited to see what the ps5 can do with the new customized version of the archetecture isntesd of the stand a rd desktop version we will probably have a few nice surprises just like the shading it's not done the same but it's doing it just as well as the Xbox just because things are different doesn't mesn they aren't as good but Xbox can run with that narrative oh its missing this or that when in reality they even know the ps5 has things the Xbox doesn't but it won't change anything and they can enjoy there 2 wins on past gen games yet the ps5 has been besting it on the newer games and will always best it when the game is natively ported for the ps5 the Xbox doesn't have to be natively ported but the ps5 does and soon most games will be and get ready for the ps5 to be trhe Xbox on most games in the future want want talk about the tolls let's talk about customization and optimization the ps5 won't be beat like some think and if anything they will both be very close but the os5 will edge it keep in mind games have to be optimized for the consoles it can vary but if both are optimized for well both consoles the ps5 has beaten those games each time lol

This die shot proves that tech youtubers like Moore's Law is Dead are full of shit. He claimed the PS5 SOC had a unified L3 cache like Zen 3 but this isn't true it has 2 separate Zen 2 cores each with separate caches same as Series X. In the PS5's case it only has half the FPU(math co processors) of a Zen 2 CPU on Series X and desktop. He also claimed the PS5 was using RDNA 3 features with an Infinity Cache, again this was complete bullshit. Whats does this means for gamers, absolutely nothing.
Absolutely absurd Cerny is a reputable figure when it comes to this stuff there's no way on earth he'd lead ppl down a false road,the guy has a history since Atari lol just some half baked internet shit trying to diminish PS5 Architecture yet again,about time these tits let sleeping dogs lie and except the fact that PS5 is a monster and I'm loving mine!

Trashbox is not full RDNA 2, it missing 3 key features of Full RDNA 2(PC version). Trashbox has no infinty cache, no high clocks & no smart memory. Trashbox, just like PS5 is a mix of RDNA/RDNA 2(hense why both are custom RDNA 2)

Anyone showing demon souls remake any hate is not a gamer, its genuinely one of the greatest games every made and the way it interacts with the dual sense controller is true next gen. I always said that people are waiting to buy miles morales , untill they have their ps5. Like myself , i bought it a week ago , and got my ps5 2 weeks ago. Too bad souls games are not my type , loved to play a ps5 excl.
Ps5 is the better performant console with far more advanced gpu and CPU since they are more heavily customized according to Cerny and Sony themselves . And the ps5 has unified RAM pool and is according to devs themselves the easiest console to develop games for so far and it can't be bottlenecked as it has genius architecture
Ps5 gpu is weaker than xsx's theoritically speaking according to tflops but it is clocked higher so that CUs advantage is obsolete ( 2,23ghz /36CUs> 1.3 or whatever ghz /52CUs) and it also has custom sony exclusive features that aren't available on xsx's and Cerny said it in road to ps5 : ps5 is heavily customized with unprecedented level of customization and if the sony suggested features come to pc desktop rdna gpus then that proves that "our collaboration with amd was successful " .
In other words , ps5 gpu is more tech advanced and unique (customization wise ) than xsx's . Same for the cpu. Even if it might be missing features , it is cuz these are possibly not relevant to consoles and cuz they already implemented custom made features with AMD .
-Unified RAM pool
-More tech advanced gpu and CPU overall that have heavier customization
-Easier to develop for hardware that can't be bottlenecked according to devs .
That is precisely why ps5 is outeperforming xsx in every single cross gen game except hitman 3 and if msft doesn't start paying devs to downgrade the ps5 Version , it will continue doing so for all games or it atleast will outeperform xsx in some games while the other does it for some other games .
Xsx being significantly more powerful and superior hardware wise is objectively invalid and is a statement only used by the miserable and desperate xbox fanboys .
If anyone here knew what an FPU (Floating-Point Unit) is (singular) then they would know that it cannot be missing from a CPU. Also it is very very hard almost to the point of impossibility to tell what is in an APU just by looking at that picture, unless you designed the thing of course but I'm gonna take a guess and say that he didn't lol. These xbox fanboys are hitting new lows.

Xbot logic:
Xbox = Toyota Supra Mk4
PS5 = Modified Toyota Supra Mk4
PS5 = Toyota Supra Mk3 because it doesn't have FULL Mk4 content.
Even though, it's content is superior to the Mk4 and even Mk5. While technically not being a Mk5, maybe sharing some features. But certainly not a Mk3
RDNA 2 was customised by Sony because Mark Cerny didn't want an off the shelf architecture. He's a computer genius and knows what specifics he wants. Some elements of the toolkit were replaced or added which are BETTER. Like INFINITY CACHE which XBOX doesn't have. But a lot of it is because AMD processing cards are for PC desktop which XBOX can run, PS5 doesn't so it needs it's own version.

Why does it matter what specs either system has right now? Series X is the more powerful system and that's a fact! What's also a fact is either system has any games to really talk about just fuckin last gen games that either can really do 4K 60fps on LAST GEN GAMES! So I'm not impressed with either console at this point!

But the ps5 doesn't have better performance than the xbox is close to the xbox in frame rate because they don't run any absolutely any game at 4k and they use less graphic details in their assets and also the lighting effects and shadows run at a lower resolution… So logically the ps5 has inferior tech but you can still enjoy the console.

I’m waiting till at least holiday season 2021 to buy a next gen console. That way I’ll have a better idea which console is better, there will be more games and any hardware bugs will have been fixed.
