  1. There's a lot of people in the comments saying things like Microsoft is copying Sony but that's just dumb.

Microsoft been trying to update their triggers since 2013 when they had the impulse triggers (Rumble in the triggers). It makes sense that they would try to go in the route of even more immersive triggers. And even the patent was filed back in 2017.

So no, Microsoft isn't copying sony. Sony didn't create adaptive trigger technology. And Sony has copied other things, like the snap feature, the analog sticks from nintendo, paid online from microsoft, bigger controllers from Xbox, online services like Xbox live back in the day. So the industry always copies off of each other, but this here isn't the case. And Playstation fans should be the last one talking about copying.

  3. I hope MS keeps the Bethesda games on the xbox.
As a PS owner, I prefer that Sony just make a Fallout and Skyrim killer.
They would be better games and not infested with MT, bugs and empty content.

  4. As long as Microsoft/developers gives me the option of turning off that adaptive triggers or whatever it’s called, I’m fine with that. I don’t enjoy gimmicks like that. I just want to be able to push the trigger and have it be responsive. That’s why my preferred controller is the Elite Series 2.

  5. You can accuse MS of many things but originality is definitely not one of them. We can go through their history and you will find most times they take existing tech and makes it better or worse depending on who you ask. As for those Xbox rumors I’ll wait until they announce it. We know Forza, Gears and Halo are coming but will these sell consoles considering driving games and shooters are a dime a dozen. . Sega selling to MS….Lol, uh no.

  6. I thought it was funny how you say that Xbox is copying Sony's patent from 2015 for the adaptive triggers and all that, but Microsoft had it since 2013 from the launch of the Xbox one..hmm… that controller had adaptive triggers…are you serious? But nobody says that do they? nobody talks about that they just say.. now.. that Sony invented it, it's a Sony thing. Well guess what? That's big bullshit, Microsoft had it first Sony just built on top of what Microsoft invented! The triggers in the Xbox one (and series x/s) controllers are not just rumble they are adaptive triggers, not to mention that Sony just blatantly ripped off the shape and ergonomics of the Xbox controller. You can't blame them it's the best controller but if Microsoft did it there would be picket signs in the streets. Sony's is just more advanced cuz they took it a little bit further!

  7. A lot of Xbox fans we're sitting on PS5 controller even Phil Spencer himself had to admit the controller for the PlayStation 5 is fire in all reality Xbox is the company holding the gaming Generations back every generation the more they keep holding on to their old controller design without Innovations it's holding up game developers from adding new Innovations to the games. Every Nintendo console that releases Nintendo innovates on the input method to play their games Sony started doing that as well when the first dual shot came out copying Nintendo Rumble Pak this has become the standard for all modern games to have some sort of Rumble feature I believe Sony just added the new revolutionary input method when they added adaptive triggers to their controller every company besides Xbox right now has a way to touch input gyro input and traditional control inputs that we used to face buttons bumpers d-pad why is it that Xbox has not innovated on their controller to add touch input or Gyro the Wii U had touch input PlayStation 4 has touch input the Nintendo switch has touch input your cell phone has touch input this is a modern way to interface with a device to strictly touch it even Nintendo has HD Rumble which is basically haptic feedback Xbox needs to get with the times we've all been waiting for them to fulfill their promises and seven billion dollars in studio money is not enough they need to innovate on their controller they need new IP and sooner or later they're going to need VR it's that simple I love what Xbox is doing with their Remote Play X Cloud features and smart delivery but other than that there's no real reason to buy the new gen Xbox because it's the same experience as the last gen with better frame rates we've already experienced these things on our PCS from 3 years ago they just need to innovate on their input message of controlling their games bring some new experiences to the Xbox dot-dot-dot but how new with those experiences be if we've got that on switch and PlayStations in the past they're behind the curve on this one step it up Xbox

  8. Xbox and Xbots are just a disgrace to gaming. You sit on your high horses, bitching about the dual sense having gimmicks and then you begin to copy it? Hypocrisy at its best, hallmark of a failing community, a waste of money. GET OUT OF THE GAMING INDUSTRY MICROSOFT XBOX.

  9. And marlon, you should know. You keeping liking the comments saying that "Xbox copied". But back in 2013 Xbox had the impulse triggers with the rumble in the triggers. so they were technically the first ones to go for that more immersive feel in the triggers. But nobody hyped it up like they did with the Dualsense.

So no Marlon, they didn't copy Sony. And if they do actually come out with these, hopefully it's an elite Series controller, or hopefully it's a more durable build so there's not mushy dpad, button sticking, or trigger snapping problems as the Dualsense.

  10. I'm kind of disappointed if this GTA IV Complete Edition is true, it's not a bad game by any means, but COME ON! A GTA San Andreas Remake NEEDS to happen, they'd pretty much be printing money if a GTA San Andreas Remake were to happen.
