popcorn osts: the definitive edition
Wish I coulda made it for the premiere, but of course, this is absolutely awesome! So far I'm on the "Katana V4 instrumental" and it sounds great, might put my opinions on some of the songs. (Mainly only Story Mode and Freeplay songs, scrapped songs would take too long to write :p) So far: (Massive wall of text incoming on all the Story Mode/Freeplay songs.)
Popcorn V3: Genuinely caught me off guard hearing what's pretty much a different song. Though with the way it sounds, it's very fitting for Bambi. And I also like how he gets a little insult in while BF is just going off LMAO. Can't wait to hear the whole song when this mod drops.
Cinema V3: Banjex song is still one of my favorites in the entire mod. The vibe, Banjex himself, his animations, the song itself. Literally everything is absolutely amazing to me here. And it instantly made Banjex probably my favorite character in the mod. I can't wait to see it in game.
Katana V4 inst: I can't really say too much on this, I've stated it sounds really good, and I like the ominous vibe it gives, same with the piano. But there just isn't enough to really comment about yet. (Probably on purpose lmao) But I can already feel it's gonna be an instant banger just like Katana V3, it also just "fits" with the character, idk how to explain it but it just fits with Bamburai. Especially that new pose, he looks so confident and I love it.
Bamberly song V2: SPIN
Bamberly song V1: just a chill banger as always : )
Wedsen & Dandi song: YOOOO this goes really hard! I always really wanted to see what a Wedsen and Dandi song would sound like and it's really fitting! Just listening to the- what, first minute? Makes me really hyped to hear the rest of the song. This is already one of my new favorites, really hype 😀
Yambo Song V1: Ngl, I really like Yambo from a character standpoint, but his song has always kinda been "eh" for me. It's not bad by any means and it's still really good! But it's the one I always kinda end up skipping from the popcorn music we have atm ngl.
Cold Taste V1: It felt weird putting "insert character name here" with song at the end of it, so I'm glad this one actually has a name. Anyways- Cold Taste goes hard, Bamibo goes hard, epic song.
Garden V2: Seeing Dave always makes me happy and smile. Garden is of course a banger and I love how it uses his OG/normal voice instead of his singing one. Gives the song a unique feel. Sad Baldi got cut out of the mod though, meaning no Teacher Meeting song. ): hope they still let Dave have another song.
Bambeez song V2: Screaming russian man has always been one of my favorites, I loop his song sometimes even if it's only like a minute and I just enjoy him, he makes me happy. 10/10.
Party V1: Y'know, everytime Banzack says "face off" (or whatever he says, probs just gibberish like most FNF songs lmao) I can imagine him just legit front facing and staring at the camera, like one of those spongebob moments where it gets all detailed, before turning back to 3D immediately after. Instantly turns this song into a cursed banger in my head. 8/10.
Starry V3: YO Bampal has hair now?? He's also a bit more slim- I actually really like this design for him! It separates him from Expunged a bit more while still looking friendly. Anyways, it's the same Starry that was dropped a month or two ago, but it's still one of the tracks I'm most excited for in the full mod. I love how gentle it is and I hope V3 keeps the wireframe sounding part from V2.
Get Real V2 inst: Sounds really cool! I saw this on Cotiles Twitter but for some reason never actually listened to it, so that extra part of the instrumental genuinely caught me off guard. Really cool though, Zetrus true form and his Bambi form look really cool too.
Otos song: Otos moment tbh
Applecore remix V2: Still hits harder Than Isaac's mom from TBOI, can't wait to hear Expunged's part!!
Well Made Win V3 inst: I don't have much to say for this as I don't wanna start repeating myself. But it just hits SO HARD, oh my god.
Antagonist V3: These two's rivalry is still really charming to me. I wasn't expecting the 2D more human-like forms to be used here, but if they actually are gonna be used it makes me more hyped to play this. 10/10 song ofc, probably one of my new favorites now!
