10 "Bad" Video Games That Are Actually Quite Good

Video game critics can be a bit, well, critical at times. Some titles can actually be genuinely enjoyable experiences depending on how you come at them, and not in an ironic “The Room” sort of way. With a view to undo the injustices of the likes of Sea of Thieves, 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand and Deadly Premonition, here are 10 “Bad” Video Games That Are Actually Quite Good

  1. Shaq fu: I think it's just misunderstood and being that we're in 2021, we're too far removed to understand why it even exists. To understand this one, you must go back to the nineties when basketball players were full-on celebrities (exhibit A: Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman). Shaq was in movies, tv and commercials- with an overall quirky and playful personality- and so being in a fighting game wasn't a longshot back then- especially for me as a 13 year old when it was first released. I loved it.

  2. Not finished the video yet, but it's tradition that God Hand ends up on these kinds of lists. Won't be upset if it isn't though – it's kind of expected at this point!

Edit: A little sad it wasn't on the list, but understandable. Curious if you forgot about it or just decided to leave it off for being too obvious a choice?

  4. Was Jurassic World Evolution poorly received? I liked that game a lot. It’s a little shallow once you play it for a long time but it’s a decent park sim and like Peter said, the dinosaurs look excellent and there is a good amount of dino variety.

  5. Rogue Warrior! I try to convince people that this game has potential, but usually it falls on def ears. It’s just so not pc witch in turn is so 80’s witch is the decade it’s set in. & that song at the end of the game. Proper job 👍
