Upvoted for running Torghast in Holy spec instead of Disc. For solo content like Torghast or Horrific Visions, Disc is cheat mode :D. It gets the mob health reduction as a heal spec, but much higher dps than other healers.
Yeah as a mage, solo torghast is very tough to do, at least for me cause im nooby. We have that power that gives your blast, frostbolt, or fireball do 2000% more damage when invisible which is helpful for the final boss, otherwise i just find myself getting barrier and defensive powers as much i can because otherwise my health dies too quickly

I did 4 runs in Mort'regar L3 today with my enhancement shaman today and I'm not capable of clearing this shit. This is getting dangerously annoying for me.

Do we get anything if we run layer 3 after getting our soul ash for the week? Cosmetics?
This was a breeze on my enhancement shaman, just had to avoid overpulling and using hex liberally.
Except when rogues anima powers increase bonespikes damage by 100%!!!!!! It now does 300 damage………….. cool……..🙄
Liking my Enhance Sham, but it is squisshhy! Having a bit of a tough time with floor 3. Nubkeks, I'm going to take your advice and try as a Resto Sham tonight. I've never played a Resto Sham in my life. Heck, I've never played a healer spec in my life! LOL. We'll see how it goes 🙂
I haven’t had any problems until I get to the final boss and synod 3 shots me 4 times in a row
one controversial tip. speed run it. dont bother exploring, straight path to the next floor. stealth if you can. and if you get a poor anima power at the beginning, go out and back in again
I highly disagree on the plundered anima cells. A lot of the time I just don't have any good options as an Ele Shaman so would rather leave it to chance.
Favorite rare mob power to date? Lifestealer rares in Mort'regar . They give you a 3-charge power that knocks 50% off /any/ elite's health when you first damage them – once that's used up, you get +30% health. BUT, if you can time that right with a friend before the end-of-layer boss? Boss dies /instantly/ .
Oh! Also , the Ven'ari Torghast upgrades are account wide – they apply to all your alts too. The Maw ones are char specific, but the Tower, well worth getting on a main!
The double totem power combo'd with the 5% damage/healing increase per totem is really good. As enhancement, you can just spam a few windfury totems down and it gives you a lot of power. 🙂
