I know its not a level,
But i recently played The Eldsr Scrolls 3: Morrowind, for the first time, and i'd get lost a lot,
Specially when a character says, "go north-east," that could mean the objective is right next to my location, or its way up in the map, was always nervous when given vague directions
Bro. The Great Crystal in FF12 is THE most confusing dungeon I've ever encountered. Made me look up a walkthrough for a FF game. Shameful.
Every level in Turok 2.
Lmao KH right off the bat
Never got lost in Irythil dungeon I have to say but that damn Deep Jungle is actually filth!
Omg, Zeffo is the last map I completed trying to get the plat. There this one little speck of map that it took me FOREVER to figure out how to get to. There's one on Kashhikk too that's pretty infuriating.
FFXV Pitioss dungeon is up there for needing a guide to complete
I'll always get lost on the Madagascar levels in uncharted 4
The ant subway in FF9. Urgh.
I know that everyone haven't experienced the Pitioss dungeon in FFXV but it made me sooo f**ing lost trying to find a way out.
Come to think of it. I don't know how of managed to finish the water temple without a guide when I was a kid.
The Library is a hard level, but it is not a maze to get lost in. Halo "second level" is the level people got lost on while driving to the different life boats.
The entire first resident evil. First played the remake on the GameCube and there was no way in hell my young mind could’ve beaten that game without the giant guidebook.
kh1 and halo i hated those levels. and i just started jedi fallen order ><
Yes, I loved Kingdom Hearts' Deep Jungle – The music, the look, & the area where heartless kept on spawning so I could get loads of Munny, but boy was it was a confusing area to navigate. Sometimes even finding that respawn areas was a chore, but always worth it whenever I did.
Pretty much all of the oldest house in control, some of it is fairly straightforward but other parts are a confusing mess and the (deliberately) misleading map doesn’t help any. I was forever getting lost in there until I learned the layout of the place.
Halo anniversary graphics may be garbage, but at least they added arrows on the floor in the library to tell you where to go. Doesn't make it easier to deal with the freaking rocket launcher floods unfortunately.
How dare you sir.. Halo is a masterpiece.
I hate dungeons (labyrinth) that have tons of dead ends or huge maps with portals where many lead you to the beginning. Pfft nah I don't like them.
The Sewers in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
Deep Jungle gave me no trouble at all. Wonderland, however ._.
Stop saying OcarinER! There’s no R at the end, it’s OcarinA! Grrrrrrr
Where's the Cathedral from Code Vein
I was waiting for zelda water temple to pop up
I think it's time for this channel to consider a Hall of Fame. There are certain iconic moments in video game history that have been mentioned to death on this and other channels like it. Once you have established those moments worthy of Hall of Fame status you can put them at the beginning of list, give them a "yeah we know they're great, check out our other 50 lists that have this moment" and let other games shine.
A few examples
The Water Temple
Spec Ops Twist
Psycho Mantis
The Konami Code
Zeffo wasn’t bad, it was really just tedious
Pretty surprising that Cortana from Halo 3 didn't beat the Library
Grunty Industries Is an absolute hellscape. Its so big, and there isnt really any cohesion to the layout of the level.
Arkham Games…
Control also had some confusing areas.
My trick with the first halo game (and video games in general) is “did something that isn’t me? That’s where I gotta go!”
The Daggerfall dungeons would like a word.
"Could it have been anything else?" Well not on this channel. It's like there's a monthly quota of mentioning the Ocarina of Time water temple.
the logos trial from vandal hearts….you have to make you way to the top of this pyramid, but you cant just go straight up it you have to spiral you way up the base etc…all while archers and mages at the top rain down on you and dont kill everyone too quickly cus the entire point is to get the chest at the very top which is annoying when both forces have stalemated each other at the middle of the pyramid
Love jrpgs but theres one in all of them
You get lost in water temple even following a guide…
There were some levels from the original Jedi Knight that belonged on this list.
The Surge. Not just one specific level, but the whole damn labyrinthian game. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game. But every last level has like 20 unlockable shortcuts as you backtrack and revisit old areas.
Most of Killzone Shadow fall's levels are huge, same-y looking, empty places that are impossible to navigate, without spamming the target/goal marker button every 5 secs of the way.
Veins of Helios in Borderlands the Presequel is so frustrating if you aren’t paying attention.
ok but why is code vein's cathedral of the sacred blood not on this list. not only is there a lot of looping and drop off points but the level is all white is it is hard to look for a land mark to find all the vestiges be for the boss if you can even get there
I would like to go for a beer with Jules. He sounds like a dude 👌
Blackreach in Skyrim???
Thanks for the PTSD hit Jules 😂
what about the blair witch game?
