10 Games Showcased At E3 That Never Released

Much of E3’s major, ongoing appeal lies with its game announcements and reveals. It’s like gaming Christmas, but the only gift you’re getting is a teaser for something that won’t be released for seven years. For some games, however, that exaggerated “seven years” comment would actually represent an improvement. Many of the games fortunate enough to get a showcase at E3 never end up coming out at all. And because the internet never forgets, we’ll always have video of the promises that never came true, and we’re able to torment ourselves with them whenever we like. Here are 10 Video Games Showcased at E3 that Never Released.

  1. I remember seeing Scalebound and I thought it was Monster Hunter for a second. It looked interesting but I couldn't get past what I thought was the rip-off aspect of it.

  2. i can not say that i am intrigued by origin of Bobba Fett, much like (inspite of Harrison's hatered of the charakter) Ford's Han Solo, there is no need for that.
Just leave it mystery, it makes it far more ominous, its like making a scitcom about day to day of Adol- oh wait that did happen, and its one and only aired episode pissed people off.

  3. Both my parents are British and I've visited England and Scotland many times and I can whole heartedly say that you're not saying beta the "British way" you're just saying it wrong😂😂😂 love the channeland I don't know how I've never noticed this

  4. I was a beta tester for Arena of Fate.

It was really average… The concept having historical people and characters from legends/fairy tales fighting each other was the best thing about that game.

  5. A tangent but I hear that Rockstar is focusing on a medieval game currently and the re re releases of gtav are to basically tread water. I actually approve. Word is when the witcher 3 released it astounded many gamers (I can't confirm this what's a Fisher) but Cd projekt acreddited Rockstar as a muse so Rockstar is still reciprocating by making a medieval game. I get the tingles it will have or will be axed. I hope not. La noir was great aside from bondi and that table tennis game was mint. Jokes aside they are due for a new title outside gta and red dead

  6. Something I love about Triple Jump is the compassion for mental illness. Not making fun of Fez 2’s developer and acknowledging he was struggling/wishing him well. Class act and as someone with pretty severe mental health issues it’s one of many things that makes Triple Jump one of the few channels I’m subbed to.

  7. Star Wars 1313 wasn't originally planned to be about Boba Fett, hence why he didn't feature in their gameplay demo. After the acquisition, the game wasn't initially cancelled, but major changes were imposed upon them including changing the main character. The devs went through a lot of work to try and accommodate this but the team was slowly stripped away for months before Disney eventually pulled the plug anyway. Tragic.

  8. Fable Legends was REALLY far into development, it was a couple of months from it's 'Open Beta' i.e. it's demo when it was cancelled. Many outlets had published their final preview as well. It didn't interest me being a Hero Moba thingy but i hoped it might be a success and renew the franchise. I remember reading one of these final previews and the takeaway was that the PvPvE Moba gamemode container wasn't all that enjoyable but the moment to moment was good fun, with good characters, graphics, production values etc.

  9. Star Wars 1313 was originally going to going to have an original protagonist. George Lucas suggested they change it to be about Boba Fett and the devs eventually caved as they didn't want to piss him off.
