  1. I believe you meant to refer to Eddie as the button Master's dream. Don't be hating just cause you ain't got the skillz (hah, skills with a Z, remember the early 00s?). The whole mashing thing was easily debunked with an Eddie vs. Eddie match up.

  2. The other one move to victory in fighting games is with Mortal Combat, Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick! It takes the opponent a few seconds to recover from the move, but as soon as you do your kicked again, no time to block. My dad always used this move as I would win against him 99% of the time.

  3. Kirby's down special is one of the easiest things to avoid especially if the player goes high up with it. Really any high up descending strike is in that regard. It travels in either a linear downward or diagonal downward path so you're gonna be able to anticipate where the attack will be and move out of the way.

  4. you cant save scum in XCOM the game is programed to predetermine the outcome of a shot so you can reload all you want you will still miss(or hit) or just install a mod that lets you save scum

  5. Using a soft on Stropers on FFIX. I only played it recently and was so upset no one had told me it was even a thing before. Itā€™s hilarious. So disappointed in the Final Fantasy fandom lol.

  6. Let's see, I know I used some of these, so rewatching and going through the list to address everything.

    10) Umm… no. I tried the game out, but never bought it, so I never beat it, and thus didn't dig down to figure out how to power-game PokĆ©mon.
    9) Yojimbo… I acquired him because I am a completionist. Used him a few times, but never really went whole-hog into him because every move from him cost money. Even using 1 gil a turn on him started getting on my nerves.
    8) Family members had a Gamecube, so I've played some of the Smash Brothers franchise, but no, never used Kirby that way.
    7) Didn't get into the Dreamcast until it was a dead console, sadly. Even trying to get a hold of Shenmue will set you back over 80 dollars from a quick search.
    6) Hmm… another game I've not played. I was more into RPGs than the FPS genre.
    5) Scum-saving. Look, if the games stopped using a lottery system to determine loot then it wouldn't happen… also if someone doesn't think I'm the Dragonborn and insults me to the Jarl, I'm shouting him into the wall to prove my point, and the guards don't like that, so save before doing that. Also, sometimes the games shouldn't be so obtuse in describing what items do.
    4) New Zelda game… couldn't afford a Switch before the pandemic, can't get one now.
    3) Oh, I remember the mixed reaction. Brought Capoeira to the mainstream, and to fight him, I learned him and got good with him.
    2) Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. No, I haven't done that. I only heard about it earlier this week from another YouTuber I follow. Definitely never played it.
    1) Didn't do gnomes, but I did set up a craft table and sold anything my in-game spouse made.

  7. Oh I abused the HELL out of Yojimbo's Zanmato when I played FFX HD on PS3. I was in no mood to grind up enough to deal with the Dark Aeons, Omega Weapon, and Penance so I just cheesed Zanmato on all of them and reloaded if he did the wrong move. Cheap? Yes. Do I care? No.

  8. i'm not sure it counts, but i think it's worth mentioning:
in Skyrim, there's a Destruction perk called "impact" that makes enemies "stagger" when you hit them with a "dual-cast" attack spell.
that is, you equip the same spell in both hands and press both attack buttons at once.
    it ALWAYS works.
    on EVERY* enemy.
time your attacks right and you can "stagger-lock" ANY* enemy.
making ANY* one-on-one battle ABSURDLY easy.

    * ok, there are TWO enemies that it won't work on. interestingly, they are the LAST two enemies in the main story quest!

  9. 10. HEY! YOU'RE FORGETTING THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS OF POKEMON MADE TYPING MORE BALANCED SINCE THEN! But no matter, Sword & Shield has damage the franchise's reputation alongside the infamous Joy Con Drift that I quit being Pokemon fan since then.

    2. That Rheva Velar looks just as cool & just as overpowered as Castlevania Symphony of the Night's Crissaegrim/ BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CASTLEVANIA FANS & BLOODSTAINED FANS, DON'T PLAY THE SWITCH VERSION OF "RITUAL OF THE NIGHT"! JUST DON'T! IT SUFFERED THE SYNDROME AS SOTN'S SATURN VERSION! You're better off playing any other version. If you have only the Nintendo Switch, WELL TOO BAD AS YOU'RE BETTER OFF PLAYING HALLOW KNIGHT INSTEAD!

  10. Another great list thank you so very much. I would have put the rail gun from the original Red Faction the list because I thought the multiplayer was more fun then Perfect Darks and itā€™s the same weapon. Also, the cow launcher from the South Park FPS for the original PlayStation should have been here too. Itā€™s a hilarious one hitter quitter you never see one lists, unfortunately. It goes, see opponents, aim, shoot/launch cow at enemies, then cow lands on opponents head butt first, leaving said head rammed up cows bum. Enemies run around hilariously for a moment being character from the shoulders down and cow from the shoulders up, unable to remove the crown you die within a few seconds. Itā€™s one of the most glorious video game weapons ever made. In my opinion.
The South Park FPS really needs a remake on todayā€™s systems. It would be so fun and so great to play that game again it was wonderful, gross, and I loved every minute of it.

  11. I'd use the pedigree on def jam fight for new york. People made fun of me for always using fat joe, but after getting absolutely destroyed by him enough times in the storymode, I've learned my lesson.

  12. Iā€™m really surprised the Yakuza series Komaki skill, the Tiger Drop was not here.

If button mashing the combos donā€™t work, we go the patient route and Tiger Drop their ass the whole way through. Especially effective if we have the critical strength buffs on and you can 2-3 shot high level enemies through Tiger Dropping people.
