tLoU Part 2 is probably the only game where i tried to fight the ending, in a good way. whenever you had to button mash to kill i didn't want to cos i liked both characters, i wanted both to win but neither to lose. My heart was in my throat in that fight and i was so relieved when Ellie relented.
Ellie murders hundreds of people to get to Abbey just to let her go. And she does it twice in the game! Lol. The writing is so bad.
Last of us 2 was crap. Waited 10 plus years for a sequel to basically tell us revenge is bad. Wow. Totally gripping ( sarcasm implied)

The Last of Us: Part II ending is one of the best of all time. Very few games actually made me not want to finish the boss, cause I cared about the characters so much. 👌🏾👌🏾
Marvels Spider-Man should have at least gotten an honarble mention.Your spending the whole game knowing Otto Octavius and befriending him only for him to betray you in the end and feel like you’ve left him behind.And Aunt Mays death at the end is so freaking sad.Not mad whatculture but you guys could’ve at least added marvels Spider-Man.

Little Nightmares 2 ending deserves a mention.
The Legacy of Kain has an awesome ending. Sprawled across multiple games (that NEED a reboot…) – It's just excellent in all regards.
"The last of us part II" has an ending that will remain inside my head for the rest of my life. Some images just can't be erased, you just have to live with them forever.

Last of Us Part 2 isn't a smart as critics keep giving it credit for its far more cliched than anything but you can't say that without being called a hater by rabid fans. Its also a shame that Nier Automata isn't on this list as the ending where you're given the choice to delete your save in order to aid other players in the game against the final boss its quite insane.
As much as I love last of us 2 and I do think it deserved game of the year of last year and I do want a last of us part 3 I wasn't a fan of last of us 2s ending
