Although it was originally announced to be coming in April 2021, Insomniac Games surprise dropped the PlayStation 5 update for Ratchet and Clank, boosting the game up from its original 30 fps to a buttery-smooth 60fps. Check out some cut together gameplay of what the game looks like after the update!

Ratchet and Clank released back in 2016 as a PlayStation 4 exclusive by Insomniac Games. While not a remake of the original Ratchet and Clank from 2002, it is a re-imagining of that game, while simultaneously being based on the movie the same year. This is the latest game in the Ratchet and Clank series until later this year when Ratchet and Blank: Rift Apart releases on June 11 2021.

  1. Was watching this thinking it was footage of the new ratchet and clank thinking —this is oddly similar to the old ratchet and clank, not impressed with these new graphics 🤦‍♂️

  2. Even though it does kinda fall in the story department, this game is still one of the most visually impressive and engaging Ratchet and Clank games I've played. The gameplay is bliss

  3. This game was fun but dang was the story messed up by having to use the dumb movie plot. Maybe one day we can get a more faithful remake with some of the modern games new mechanics but keeps the main story in tact as well as bringing back the original soundtrack.
